Terrible

Location in a shady part of town. First room smelled of smoke and bleach. Changed to new room and it seemed okay. Very old. You could hear everything through the walls (person upstairs snoring, walking, talking, traffic, etc.) I woke up covered with bites--bed bugs. Breakfast was nothing more than 2 sugared cereal and white bread. I'm not too picky--just needed a quick stay close to airport, but it was awful.

Short stay in Long Beach

First off the parking lot and spaces were very small for my Dodge2500. The room had wifi, tv that we could hook up a dvd, micro wave, frig and a comfy bed . Thats all we needed for a few days not the most up to date, and storage was in short supply but it was clean.

Wedding trip

This hotel is located right behind elementary school and during weekdays is a lot of noise in the morning. Also the continental breakfast that the hotel offers is very poor and not to many choices to pick. In my opinion, I wouldn't stay again in this hotel

Clean, quiet, up-to-date room

They must have done a renovation of this hotel, because the older reviews of this hotel were kind of scary - whereas the reality was rather pleasant. Room was clean; sheets were clean; mattress was clean (yes, I checked) and comfortable; blanket on the bed was new; room decorated with dark wood and green carpet; there was a microwave, medium-sized refrigerator, and ironing board in the room. The refrigerator wasn't plugged in when I got there, but that was easy enough to fix. The plug for the bathtub didn't work (I had a roll of tape - problem solved), however, the water was consistently hot. Towels were a little dingy, but also clearly clean. No problems with the WiFi service. I never went for the breakfast so i can't comment on that. The exterior looks a little like a chalet. Parking lot is smallish but I could always find a space, and it was free. (No parking on the street M-F after 8AM.) There are two gates to the parking lot but one of them remains locked, which means there's only one entrance - I appreciated that. The neighborhood is somewhere between a mild ghetto and a barrio - it's the type of neighborhood my dad would tell me not to walk around at night - but it's not terrifying, just be aware and you'll be fine. (And yes, I saw a hooker at this hotel - hilarious.) You'll want access to a car here.

Still had a good time!!

This location has easy access to the freeways to get to the oceans easily. However I had an incident with a tenet who hit my car and just drove off. which it turned out that the employees there knew the people who hit my car however offered no help until after the police had reviewed the camera footage but still claimed not to knew the car or driver. fortunately I spotted the car upon returning later that night and got it all taken care of. and thats when we found out that this hotel is also located on the same street worked by the local hookers.

Long Beach

The hotel was what one would expect from a Days Inn. It was decent and adequate. The surrounding area is a little run down. I had only one issue with the room. One of the towels appeared to be dirty or stained. Other than that, the room was fine.

simply horrible

Upon arrival, staff on duty was rude and more concerned with his cell phone call than me needing to check in. Was given a smoking room with what seemed to be a smaller than queen bed. I had reserved a non-smoking king. When I went back to let him know the room wasn't what I reserved again, the cell was more important. I was told "we only have one room type and I had a king bed." [...] That is pretty shady if you ask me. After spending a few days I noticed that the bathroom was not cleaned...only the towels were replaced. Overall very disappointed in this hotel, I expect more from such a large chain.
