Travelodge Lompoc California

One word: Nasty! Very disappointed in the location, comfort, and staff. Primarily the weekend manager. Plain and simple does not know how to manage.

While on a weekend trip. Lets start off with customer service. What customer service! The manager was condesending, unreasonable, & unfair. Next the location was horrible, being right next to a 24 hour gas station/liquor mart (who knows who's coming & going). With a high traffic area like this it is a NO-NO for people with children or families! The picture in the ad is angled away from the 24 gas station/liquor mart so you can't see that it's there. Then the room was unacceptable with a broken toilet seat, clogged sink, lumpy bed, & worst of all what appeared to be a red stain on the sheets! Yuck! You be the judge on that one. I have been to plenty of other hotels around the country & around world while on vacation. But none as bad as this one. In all, it's not worth it to stay here. I'd rather sleep in my car. Hopefully someone will listen to this truthfull review.

No breakfast as advertised, hair dryer didn't work, had to call twice to get replacement.

Great experience! Clean and cozy, with very comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and it was calm and peaceful.

We have stayed at other hotels in the Lompoc area, and were very satisfied. Because of this reason we decided to try the Travelodge Hotel. I was throughly dissapointed with the accomodation for the price I was paying. I was disgusted with th econdition of the restroom, especially the shower. It had paint chiping, tile that was coming up from the floor, and mildew/mold within the shower itself. I definetly will not stay there again.

I stayed with my family for one night in romm#207 on 9/20/08, and had the worst experience of all hotels in my life. The hotel stff was the least courteous. The room was very poor looking nad uncomfortable. The towels seemed worn out completley. The bed sheets and the blanket seemed never washed. Only a tiny soap and no shampo. I entered the shower and used my own shampo to take the shower. I turned on the water, and realized in no time that the shower floor was slippery, as I tried to hold on with water running and soap on the floor, I couldn't keep my balance and fell down. The hotel's owner had failed to provide shower mats or bothered to clean up the shower pan/floor. The result was freefall. I called the manger, and she said no shower mats can be provided. I have hurt my back badly because of this incident, and on top of that when I tried to contact the hotel for the treatment of my back, he has refused to respond to my requests. I have no choice but to contact my attorney for sueing the hotel. I recommend this hotel be banned until all the security codes are implemented for the safe stay.

This hotel was a god value for the money. Clean and comfortable, not fancy.

This hotel's room was uncomfortable,carpet was not really clean,walking around without shoes i got my feet dirty as well as my two daughters.another bad thing was when my older daughter was taking a shower, hot an cold water were coming from the showerhead scaring my doughter,and i prove it myself when it was my turn to shower.Water in the bathroom sink was not running properly(sink was clogged),and last, at nigth it was too noisy because the hotel is on a main street with lots of traffic.

My husband and I were very satisfied with our room. It was priced just right. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this motel to anyone on a budget.
