Lompoc hotel offers free Internet, breakfast buffet, parking
The Holiday Inn Express Lompoc is in the Santa Rita Hills of sleepy Lompoc, yet close to many destinations. Lompoc Airport is about a mile and a half away, and Vandenberg Air Force Base, Benary, Lockheed Martin, Celite/World Minerals and Boeing are nearby. Fiddlehead Cellars, Samsara Wine Company and Babcock Winery are also close. enjoyed the place
We arrived in the evening, dead tired. A few kids were quite noisily running down th hallway, but that stopped son. We fell asleep, woke rested enjoyed the breakfast and left. It was easy and jus what we had looked for.

Our Stay In Lompoc
It was a nice stay in Lompoc . The hotel was good for the area, close to shopping and resturants, starbucks across the street made Sunday morning a little bit better. Staff was very nice rooms were nice as well, it wasn't 5 stars but the family and I were comfortable. Our room could have used a vent fan in the bathroom as the room was "muggy" after taking a shower. The windows did open to air out the steam.TV and Cable services were great really fast internet I 'm sure it was Comcast.

Lompoc is the town of art and flowers. Just a couple miles out of town are beautiful feilds of flowers, rolling hills and vineyards. In town there are metal sculptures I assume by a local artist.Good BbQ resturants as well as your familiar fast food and chain resturants.

Dissappointing and Dull
We were staying in Lompoc to go skydiving the next day. The hotel was clean, but that's about it. They didn't have any amenities (we were not even able to obtain glasses - only plastic or styrofoam were available), they provided us with what hand towels for the pool and there is absolutely nothing in the area for entertainment. Poor value for the fairly high price.

peace & quiet seeker
Hiatus R&R getaway
this hotel was quite lovely. And no smoking anywhere in the bldgs. Loved that. It was quiet and everything you need is there in your room. clean and well taken care of. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Dining room quite nice too.

Nice Pleasant Stay with Friendly Staff
Room was nice and neat, staff was very helpful, water in room could have been hotter, water pressure was to low for me ~ but I like it very hot, would love deeper tubs, maybe even a room with a jacuzzi tub with jets~ Friendly staff and secure hotel~close to food and starbucks~ Will stay there aqain soon!

Ross Store or Walmart is as good as it gets in Lompoc -- Ross had good bargains, but its hit and miss~ Go to Santa Barbara if you want designer... Quiet Quaint Place!

Unbeatable location for the price"
We stayed one night to enjoy the fields of flowers on our way back down the coast... Accommodations were spacious and modern. Laundry facilities were a great plus, since this was the end of a week long trip. Staff was friendly and helpful.Free breakfast had several good options.

Not a Suite
We were looking forward to relaxing, getting in the pool, and taking daily drives to nearby cities. It was so windy in Lompoc, getting in the outside pool and/or hot tub didn't seem like a great idea, and I'm told it's that way most of the time. Just going from the car to the elevator was uncomfortable it was so windy. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but it was like 2 rooms of furniture put in 1 room - not much room to move around because of it. The continental breakfast was nice (lots of choices) and the homemade cookies each night were delicious.

Quicksilver Ranch (miniature horses), 1555 Alamo Pintado Road, Solvang - how could you not like miniature horses, and we were lucky enough to see and touch lots of babies.

Nice stay
Clean well appointed room. Friendly desk service. Close to local Lompoc wine tasting. Not too far from the large Santa Ynez Valley wine tasting. I recommend the hotel.
