La Quinta Inn Livermore

Perfect abode to reflect my Father's death and take care of business for him. Nice touch being away from town to not be congested. Loved the exercise room, swimming pool and jacuzi to ease the body as well as mind. Thanks

I did have some bad experiences with the hotels before but never bad enough to write about it. First of all, this hotel is extremely overpriced. For $80/night I would expect to see maybe not brand new carpet, but at least clean one. All the furniture was scratched up. The toilet had a wide brown ring on the inside wall it like it was never cleaned. But that wasn’t all. First, they put me in non-smoking room when I requested smoking one. Later they moved me to smoking room that didn’t have a key. Electronic lock was broken and taken apart. They had only one actual key to that room, which they wouldn’t give to me. So if I was to leave the room, I had to go to front desk so they would let me in. The room was freezing, so I turned on the heater. 20 min later – no heat. I turned in hot water in the bathroom to warm and steam it up, 20 min later – no steam. The only solution was an extra blanket! I think I would me more comfortable sleeping in my car.

i stay here when working in Livermore. staff/houskeeping are top notch. highly recommend!!!!

the hotel was just 7 miles away from the bart station and a 10 minute drive. the people were great to help us plan the trip to san francisco.. the pool and hot tub were perfect and a nice breakfast. very clean and accessable to the freeway. we will stay there again when we go to the bay area

Went to the Good Guys car show. I was not impressed with the breakfast, nor the way it was set up very misplaced. Couldn't find things easy! No eggs, just cold rolls, or fruit bowl, bad choice of cereal, 1 waffle maker. Worst thing they put us in a smoking room, I thought all of CA was no smoking in a public building period! When we complained they said it was because we put our room reservations on a credit card, what???? Isn't that how you pay for a room? I said what if next time we really specify non-smoking, he said you could STILL get a smoking room. Our friends got reservations after us and got a non-smoking room. Then they said we got the smoking room cause we booked it with Orbitz. The bed was like a brick too. So if you like a crummy breakfast, hard bed, and smoke great. The only good thing was it had a frig and microwave in the room.

Not the cleanest, best area, or best maintained. Efficient ... free breakfast ... a little further away from the area I was working than I had thought.

Our stay at La Quinta Inn in Livermore, CA was cut short - never stepped foot in the room, due to the cigarette smoke in the hall and the assigned smoking room! We checked in and then went up to the room. We barely made it out of the elevator before smelling the cigarette smoke in the hallway. We specifically requested non-smoking [...] when we booked the room. However, when we returned to the front desk to change our room, we were told that they were not only booked and could not change our room, but they did not feel that they were obligated in any way to honor the booking[...]. We left and stayed with their competitor across the parking lot.[...]

I needed a place to stay with my cats, and I was very happy that they didn't charge any fees or have limits on my pets. I really enjoyed having access to a computer while I was there.

We arrived very late, but we found the hotel was staffed with prompt friendly service. We found the room very clean and more spacious than we expected. After a 400 mile drive, this was a welcome relief. Because I had an afternoon meeting, the staff was flexible on an hour later checkout time. They took into account our very late arrival, and we appreciated that. The business center and free wifi also was a nice perk. This made getting ready for my business appointment hassle free, and I very much appreciate not having to fumble with credit cards just to get an internet connection.

Staff was friendly. Hotel room clean and comfortable. Out of the way of everything but would definitely stay again. Local restaurants appreciative of business.
