I just use the hotel to sleep and leave early, I did not have enough time to enjoy everything, but I like the location, the big bed and the clean the room was, it includes frigde, microwave, tv, iron, pool breakfast and I recommended to anyone who is going to San Francisco. located in the center of livermore and 35 min from San Francisco. Nice staying Thank you

Warning To all Good Guys Show Travelers
This is a complaint on the American Best Value Inn in Livermore CA. On 8/27/10 my boyfriend Darrell Evans and I went to check in to this property. First the parking was difficult to maneuver around. We reserved a Smoking Queen room at a AAA discount rate because there was no non smoking rooms available for the two nights we were staying. When we arrived to the room, it was dirty, the curtains was not hung properly, the toilet was not flushing at all, and it had human feces that was not flushed. The toilet paper on the toilet roll was stained if not by urine by water. In the shower stall the tiling was cracked and there was mold all in the shower. There was dried faded blood stains on the wall above the TV. Gang signs were etched in the door. The refrigerator was running properly, and the bed linen were dirty. We did take some photos of the condition of the room. We were not at the property for more than an hour when we address our concerns to management and asked for a refund of our money. At first the manager was going to refuse giving us a refund stating we were there for over 2 hours when we were not. He did issue the refund and then showed my boyfriend the credit card receipt for another customer that was staying at the same property, showing where they paid over $160.00 for the same two nights. When we arrived there was a no vacancy sign in the window, and when we were getting the refund processed, another couple that came in and the manager stated he would have a room available in five minutes for $160.00 for two night. I have been in the travel industry for over 10 years, the accommodations and management at this establishment in my personal and professional opinion needs serious review and inspection.

it was not as comfortable as i hoped. i eather was trying to sleep or study my imfo. bed was hard,and lights were dim. needed more light to study.

The bed was firm and the sheets were well laundered. The closet was minimal, but we did not spend any time in the closet. The place turned to be within one block of where we were headed for Thanksgiving dinner. Starbucks is within walking distance too. It worked out fine.

Worth it
for a cheap hotel, I was impressed. It was clean and I wasn't afraid to be barefoot in the shower. The location was great. Close to town for dinner and night life with a coffee/bagel/lunch place right across the street as well as a drug store.I hope to visit Livermore again and will definately stay there.
