A week at the Ayres
The Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods is a nice hotel that is fairly laid back and quiet throughout the week. It provides a hot breakfast in the morning and a happy hour most evenings. It doesn't have any restaurants on location for lunch or dinner, but there are a few places within walking distance if you like sandwiches, pizza or sushi. There's also a Starbuck across the street. The pool is nice for relaxing, but not big enough for lap swimming and the workout facilities are minimal. Overall, a good place to stay, with an easily accessible location and only 10 minutes from Laguna Beach.

Wonderful getaway
This was one of the most enjoyable hotel stays that we have ever had. Everything was great about it. It met all of our expectations and then some. Great location. Would stay there again without question.

this is the place to stay!
as a stay-at-home mom of 3 toddlers i went away by myself for a weekend of quiet and would trust that to no other chain but this one. this was my second stay with this chain, first time at this location. hands down the best chain you will ever stay with!

In Hotel
there is no room service but some restaurants will deliver to your room. you have a mini fridge and a microwave so you can go to stater brothers across the street and have it in room and ready.

it was a very nice hotel, quick responses to calls. Friendly atmosphere, very good breakfast included. I would recommend to all and would come back again.

My husband and I were out of our home for a week and stayed at the Laguna Woods Ayres. The room was clean, comfortable bed, and quiet at night. The breakfast was wonderful. Staff very nice and helpful. computer with printer in lobby. free happy hour and snacks in the afternoon. fresh baked cookies. So many extras that made the week much easier.

Nice stay, but not really kids friendly
The hotel is nice and clean, we liked the breakfast. However our family has young kids, the bathroom sink, the counter are all too tall for kids to reach. We conclude this hotel may not design for family with small kids.

Decent hotel close to Laguna Woods
This Ayres hotel is the best option when visiting family at Laguna Woods. The hotel is clean, pleasant and a cut above the others we've tried close by. The breakfast is also better than the competition. One small drawback is that the air conditioner is in the window and was a little noisier than central air, but it was a minor distraction overall.

Just across the street there is a very good sushi restaurant that was suggested by the hotel staff.
