Travelodge Laguna Beach

I was in town for a destination wedding and the Travelodge came up as the most affordable hotel in the Laguna Beach area with all the amenities you would expect in a typical hotel. After talking to some of the other wedding guests, I discovered that for the price, amenities, and location, the Travelodge was by far the best! A lot of the older, more established hotels did not offer the same level of service and amenities for twice to three times the price. Thank you, Travelodge, for making my stay so affordable!

The rooms are very clean, nice small kitchen with table. very close to the shops and the beach. Very good price for comfortable, clean, great location.

This is a good hotel with an excellent location. Right across the street from a world class resort and beach access. Next door to grocery store, pharmacy and eateries. Been coming here for years. Unfortunately, this trip, the hotel grounds were under complete reconstruction. The central pool area is being gutted and many of the rooms were being repaired. Workers on site at 8:30 am. I had booked for three nights but cancelled the remaining two. There was no prior notice of this given on site.

Pretty much only hotel that fit in our budget for Laguna Beach. Close to beach, just have to cross street. Not very close to restaurants/shops which is no fun because driving into Laguna is kind of stressful. There is a little shopping center next door with some decent pizza and a great cheap mexican place.

My wife and I stayed here one night when we went to the Pageant of the Masters. I was happy with the hotel and was able to get a last-minute reservation. The price was good and there was a free shuttle to take us into town and back, which was really convenient. It's too far to walk to the main beach, but there are small beach coves across the street and down a flight of stairs. Also a grassy park across the street. Not a bad place if you don't mind being off the main beach and having a very small bit of beach access. I would stay again.

Good value for Laguna beach. Clean. Some decline in maintenance over the last few years. Slightly aging. Continental breakfast is adequate but not elegant. Pool and spa were good.

Great value for location. Public beach shares with Montage Resort. Beautiful gardens across the street. Furniture in rooms old, but beds comfortable and room was very clean. Breakfast provided. Helpful staff.

I spent 2 days diving in Laguna. Each day, I would rinse my gear off and let it drip on a tarp I put on the front step of my room. I let the staff know that I had expensive gear out there and they included it in their security patrols and surveillance. When I put the gear away one night, the security called me up and asked if I forgot to inform them that I had put the gear away. They were on top of it and very professional.
