Intimate inn just steps from the ocean and downtown Laguna Beach
Guests at the Laguna Cliffs Inn enjoy a prime location within walking distance of the beach and Pacific Ocean, downtown Laguna Beach, and Heisler Park, considered one of the most beautiful parks on the California coast. The hotel offers guests a large, relaxing courtyard area, a heated swimming pool and whirlpool, and a dry sauna. Beach Visit
We arrived late, and there was no clerk at reception (ca. 9 pm) We waited 15 minutes until the only employee on site showed up to check us in. The room was probably the least desirable of all rooms at this Motel. (Hidden behind pool area) Room 113. Parking was not adequate for number of guests. We had to "invent" a parking spot when we returned after dinner. (ca 10pm)

getaway
My husband and I wanted a place close to the beach and away far away enough from all the chaos. This was the perfect location. The rooms were clean and roomy and not outdated. The staff was very helpful and extremly friendly. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to our nest vist.

A great getaway weekend, off season.
Laguna Cliffs inn is Great. We went in April, 2012. Warm cookies when you check in. Freshly painted and well maintained with warm colors. Not on the beach, but close enough to be a few minutes walk and save the "on the beach dollars" Up on the cliffs so the sundeck has an ocean view. Especially nice from second floor. Private porch out the backside of unit was nice, although just overlooked the a parking lot. It the Inn though, even though PCH is right there, you felt so removed and secluded.

Quaint Little Get Away
Right in the heart of Laguna Beach. Short, nice walk to the beach. Rooms are cute and comfortable and the staff is welcoming and friendly and I even got a $50 gift card to return. No complaints here :)

Laguna Beach weekend
Everything went smoothly. Place was very nice, centrally located. Nice view of the beach, but difficult to get to from the hotel. High cost for what we received, but perhaps all of Laguna Beach is that expensive.

Pleasant stay in a nice place
The room was comfortable and clean and the location was well suited to walking down to the beach. The hotel really isn't within walking distance of the downtown restaurants unless you _really_ like walking. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was very convenient. The Laguna Cliffs Inn was a good value and a nice place to stay.

Great Anniversary Getaway
It was our first trip to this hotel. Great friendly and welcoming staff. Hotel could not be in a better location, right around the corner from the Ocean. Room was very comfortable with an ocean view from the balcony Loved it so much coming back for a getaway in March !

Bad Medicine
Expected something better
I was looking for a quiet place with nice views for a short vacation. It looks like I needed to do more research. This motel is nothing fancy. It's quiet, clean and the staff is friendly. It's a short walk to downtown Laguna and the beach. Also the parking is free and very conveniently located downstairs. I just expected something better when I was booking this hotel. It's not directly on the beach, so even the skyline view rooms don't get that great view you're looking for so don't waste your money renting those. The shower head was broken and the ceiling fan light wouldn't turn on, and they couldn't fix it during our 3-days stay.
