Here, in this timeless setting, exquisite decor, impeccable service, and inviting ambience inspire, as they always have, memories that will last forever...

There is a $12 Daily Resort Fee during your stay that includes: WiFi access in all guest rooms and public spaces Free business center services Fitness club membership at The Art of Fitness & Spa Beach equipment service - Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels Complimentary bottled water in guest rooms

What a deal

All of the rooms are different, we finally accepted the third one. Desk staff was exceptionally accomodating. "European style" means small rooms, some with the bathroom sink in the bedroom. But, for the price you pay, you don't have to think twice about having a weekend getaway. The rooftop bar was the best sunset view in Laguna Beach. It's not too long a walk to downtown. The beach is very close. Free parking! Walk one block to French 75, an excellent restaurant. Lots of shopping starting right outside the door.

Charming and vintage hotel

The location is perfect. You step out of the hotel and you are steps away from the beach. Their rooftop bar and grill is great for sunsets and their restaurant K'ya offers a lovely small bites menu with a huge selection. My only problem was that the noise level was high. The trash trucks came by our window and there was renovation construction going on durring ou stay.

The hotel's restaurant K'ya was great! Happy hour from 4:30-5:30 offered half off all their menu items. The grill on the rooftop offers happy hour with discounted drinks from 3-5....so if you coordinate your time well, you could catch a cocktail on the rooftop for happyp hour, theop downstairs for the restaurants happy hour for food. ummy!

Mi casa es tu Casa

I was taking by how truly friendly the front desk staff was. I love their genuine smiles and their efforts in trying to get us what we needed. The hotel is busy at nights. Next time I will make reservations for hotel and roof top bar since last weekend all tables where reserved on Friday and Saturday. Fun place for singles. Great piano player at the lobby are. Don't plan on taking kids, but great for couples and singles. AS a suggestion for the Hotel manager: The Lobby area needs a touch: re-arrange the furniture, change the drapes and just un-clugg the area. You wil see how nicer it would look!!

Time-saving tip: In Hotel

Make table reservations early so you can enjoy the great food at the hotel . Great food, we eat at the hotel every day!!The hotel should give more preference for their guess but I gues one can always make reservations ahead of time.

Don't Believe the Web Site Photos

WE FOUND THE HOTEL TO BE VERY NON-USER FRIENDLY. FROM GETTING THE BAGS TO THE ROOM - TO THE AMENITIES IN THE ROOM. ROOMS ARE SMALL OUT DATED AND OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE WAY PEOPLE OF TODAY TRAVEL. IN OUR FIRST ROOM THE BATHROOM WINDOW COULD NOT CLOSE COMPLETELY AND THE SECOND WAS ARRANGED IN A WAY THAT MADE CIRCULATION AROUND THE BED TO THE BATHROOM VERY TIGHT. IN ADDITION TO THE BAD ROOMS - THE HOTEL STAFFED WORKED INTO THE NIGHT BREAKING UP THE TABLES AND CHAIRS FROM A PRIVATE PARTY HELD EARLIER THAT EVENING. THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT FAILED TO RECOGNIZE THAT ALL CUSTOMERS OF THE HOTEL SHOULD BE TREATED 'SPECIAL' NOT JUST THE HUGE MONEY CUSTOMERS. MY ADVICE - STAY ELSEWHERE UNTIL THIS HOTEL DECIDES IT WANTS TO BE IN THIS CENTURY.

Service was great!

The hotel staff made up for the noise level. We aren't the late-night party type. The noise from downstairs was very loud until very late at night. We had to walk down a lot of stairs to get to the beach. BUT the staff was great! They made up for anything that was negative. I brought left-overs from another Restaurant and the downstairs restaurant heated it up for me the next morning, served it on a regular plate and added bread to my meal! My husband bought a meal from them and I bought a soda. Even after check-out time the staff let us borrow beach chairs and towels and even had some sunscreen to lend us.

Good location with nice breakfast

There was some reservation error between orbitz and the hotel on my reservation but the staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel condition was very cozy and all the furniture is very antigue but room was little bit smaller than I expected. Specially I liked the breakfast from the restaurant on 1st foor, which was free.

Nice place

Superb food. Great location, friendly front desk. We had a great time at this hotel and plan to go there next year and stay for a week. Never left the hotel to eat any other place. Only down side was the temperature regulation which was difficult...heater was full blast and impossible to regulate. Otherwise, an idyllic spot and a great place for the money.
