Laguna weekend
First, My husband were so impressed with the women who was was working at the front desk, she was kind, helpful, informative. She made our trip much more pleasurable. She gave us restaurant information, beach information, which beach our dog will enjoy. The rooms were clean, the decor was updated, the beds compfortable.

Friendly, But, In Need of TLC
I was looking for something between Newport and Laguna and this fit the bill. Unfortunately, I was astounded at the conditions for the price. The clerk as the front desk was nice and very helpful, however, the rooms are very old & tired and a bit smelly. Linens are thread bare. Also, don't count on the hair dryers as they are straight out of the 70's and without any drying power. Had I not paid approximately $129 per night in-advance, I definitely would not have stayed. Location was okay, but, many blocks from downtown Laguna. I felt duped and ripped-off when I saw the room. Owners need to invest in some renovations.
