Great Peaceful Location, although a bit dated
Location was fantastic - beautiful canyon location within striking distance of the beach but removed from the coast highway traffic noise. Enjoyed the shuffleboard, horshoes, ping pong. The rooms were dated with termite damage, bathroom fan stopped working, rust, and the walls were extrememly thin (or so it seemed). Overall pleasant experience

Perfect doesn't begin to describe it...
If you're looking for a high rolling uppity place to stay, this is NOT the place you want. This is a completely down to earth type of place, like staying at your grandmother's house, only completely private. The location is beautiful, and being able to hear crickets and owls at night was fantastic! The staff is as attentive as you'll let them be, if you want to be left alone, they won't bug you, if you need something, call and they'll bring it. The rooms are very suited to a beach atmosphere, clean but not so sanitized you're afraid to get it dirty. I honestly think the only thing I would suggest in the way of improvement would be to add pot holders to the kitchens...everything else except food was provided. Overall experience was perfect!

Wonderful place to stay! Service
Wonderful place to stay! Service staff were available at any time and totally approachable. I booked a studio room at a really great price and it was upgraded to a sensational apartment for the whole week! I would recommend this motel in an instant. As well, the location is absolutely beautiful with access to the beach moments away. This accommodation also includes a fabulous swimming pool and cabana. Also, there is a wonderful cafe/eatery on the premises to purchase meals if you like. Totally recommend this motel for one day or a week!

Not a Hotel Sightly Refurbished Apartments
This hotel is not really a hotel. I believe they were apartments or really old condos years ago, and that is what it still looks like an apartment complex. There really is no "service." Your room gets cleaned and they change the bed sheets every 3 days unless you want them changed more often. You have your own electric stove, fridge and basically full kitchen. It was pretty pricey, but I hear for the "off" season it's less than the $170.00 per night that I stayed there. I don't believe I would stay there again.

Tired hotel in beautiful setting
The hotel is located in a beautiful canyon setting. The room was very large but very outdated in decor and condition. The beach and town shuttle stop are both a quarter mile walk so not very convenient. For the price it was ok considering it's proximity to Laguna Beach.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY - OUT OF THE WAY
We stayed in a suite at the Aliso Creek Inn in Laguna Beach and were pleasantly surprised by the out of the way location and the nice large suite with full kitchen, including pans, plates and utensils, all for an excellent price. The golf course on site was beautiful and with the best beach location right across the street. We loved being able to sit in our private outside patio, drinking our morning coffee, listening to the creek. We were very happy with our choice. We will stay at Aliso Creek Inn again and will recommend it to our friends.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Great places to eat just up the street. I would suggest driving though, as Pacific Coast Highway is a very busy street and too dangerous to walk, especially where there are no sidewalks. Many excellent choices of restaurants with various types of food. There are even two big grocery stores close by to stock up on food to bring back to your room and with a full kitchen, it's easy to save $$ !!

Great price and nice location
If you are looking for a hotel to enjoy the city of Laguna Beach, do not stay here. It is about 3 miles from downtown, and you cannot walk there. However, if you're looking for a place to relax, close to the beach and with a charming atmosphere stay here. It is an old hotel with the look and feel of a timeshare. It has no restaurants in site, but rooms have a full kitchen, it has decent size pool and a jacuzzi. The staff is very friendly and it if you want enjoy the town, you can easily ask them to call you a cab. The Aliso beach is walking distance from there, and it is a great spot if you want to send your day laying on the sand.

Great budget hotel
Hotel is old, but clean with friendly staff. In a very quiet little canyon outside of town, short easy walk to Aliso Beach. Only complaint was a spider in my room, and they came right out and killed it for me. I would recommend this hotel, with the understanding that it is an old place and has not been remodeled.

Not worth it
Looks like an old apartment building. Smells bad, especially the bathroom. Free internet extremely slow. Location not bad, although it is not directly on pacific coast highway. Was to affraid to walk through the tunnel which connects the property with Aliso Beach Park.
