Weekend Getaway
I was a bit dissapointed that I didnt get the room that was described on my itinerary. Instead my room was at the front of the hotel where there seemed to be a lot of noise from nearby restaurants and pedestrians. T.V remote didnt work, coffee maker was a bit confusing to operate. Otherwise everything was o.k.

Perfect Romantic Getaway
My girlfriend and I were looking for a low key place for a weekend getaway. This place if perfect. There is something about the desert that makes you really feel like you are "getting away." The hotel is amazing and facilities were exactly what we were looking for. This may be an routine thing for us now.

Rustic Charm
We stayed in one of the updated historic casitas which was charming but not as luxurious as we were hoping, otherwise everything else was wonderful and I would recommend staying here.

A Mixed Experience
The staff was excellent and very friendly. The best part of our stay. The buildings are old and there is a lot of renovation going on which took up a lot of parking spots -- couldn't park near our room and had to walk a ways with our luggage. When we entered our room there were two dead cockroaches on the floor which I picked up and threw away; several minutes after we arrived housekeeping came to clean up the bugs. Since we never called anyone (just took care of it ourselves), I assume a 'supervisor' found the dead bugs and, instead of just taking are of it, called a maid (was it beneath him/her?). The result was a bad first impression. The other issue was the shower; water pressure was non-existent (a dribble out of the shower head).

The Greatest couple getaway
Our stayed at the hotel was wonderfully, we spent most of the day by the pool. This resort has pools everywhere, which you can actually can have your own pool to yourself. The hotel its a beautiful Spanish structure, the decorwas very unique which we really love. If you want to get away from everyday routine, this is the perfect place to come. The staff were %100 helpful especially [...] at the front desk, she put us the best best room, with the best view.

Short drive from hotel
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway was great. The national forest was about 30 degrees cooler than the hotel which made it a nice midday getaway for us. the views were unbelieveable!

Happy Fourth of July
The pool was a bit too crowded ,and the staff a bit understaffed, but this place remains a lovely service oriented spot any time of year. This year they did fireworks for the first time and did a stupendous job. The food at all the restaurants on the premises is above average. The grounds are immaculate. We cant wait to go back - but bring your own bikes - they get short on bikes!
