My time there was great, it's a perfect location near the ocean. It's in a very convenient location near many stores and restaurants. You could see the sea lions and swim in the ocean if you want to. The room was decent, and the staff was nice. Overall, for the price, it's a great place to stay, I would do it again.

Great Location, Ordinary hotel
Terrific location, overlooking the cove. View of the sea gulls and the seals. The La Jolla shopping and dining is just couple of minutes of walk away. However, you are just paying for the views and the location. Rooms are ordinary, just barebones; and the whole look and feel of the buildings is ancient (and not in a romantic way). Also, the complimentary breakfast is just a joke..

La Jolla Cove Suites
I always enjoy this hotel as the location is fantastic! The breakfast more than adequate and I loved my vacation there. They could clean the carpets though.

Sucked
Don't wast yor money the Hotel is dreadful from check in to out Not a good experience I travel 100 nights a year I never participate in surveys but wanted to warn any one who has a choice. I had to be in town these days however there was a large convention so not much to choose from. hotel 6 would have been better
