Holiday Inn LA MIRADA

you know i had a good time. the only issue was when you enter or exit the building you have to cross through an extensive cloud of cigarette smoke, it didnt matter what time of day the smokers were grouped up at the doorway. also one of the servers rushed me to order and pay it seemed like she had better things to do, their werent many people there so it couldnt have been like she was swamped.

As I have been in a Holiday Inn before, I was expecting at least that standard. But when my wife and I arrived the hotel I noticed that it was a kind of old. And I'm not talking about "old fashioned stuff". The run itself and its furniture had an old aspect.

We were having our house fumigated and decided to chose hotel because of its excellent customer service and close location to home and work. Our check-in experience was horrible. 6 hours after my husband arrived at the hotel did they finally check us in. Front desk personnel was not sympathetic at all to our situation. My husband arrived early because of fumigation. He requested early check-in. Front desk said they would work on it. From start to finish, it took them 6 hours to get us checked in. He sat in lobby and was ignored. Staff never provided room status update while he sat in lobby and waited. We cannot recommend this hotel!

Was in the area for a wedding at the Clark Estate in Santa Fe Springs just ten minutes away. This hotel is located right off the 5 freeway. They had a busy lobby when I arrived (and even busier when I left the next morning), but the staff was very friendly and got me checked in and into my room a little before the 3 PM checkin time, which I appreciated as the wedding that I attended was at 4 PM. I stayed in a business class suite on the seventh floor. The room was clean and spacious with free WiFi, which was great for my smartphone use. Did not spend much time in the room, but only to change and sleep. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stay at this hotel fairly often when visiting our Biola University student. We're never disappointed.

Easy check in and out. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and great location for our visit.

Free bus to Disneyland, Knott's berry farm, mall.

Hotel was conviently located for me, and plenty of resturants nearby. The staff was helpful and courteous

We booked 3 months in advance and requested 2 adjoining rooms for us and our 6 kids. When we checked in, we were told that none were available till half way through our 9 day stay.They put the 8 of us in double beds, not queens like we asked for, and were led to believe we were getting when I called 2 days before we left to confirm our booking. The day that we were supposed to move to our adjoining room, I was sick with food poisoning from the Red Robin that's in the hotel, and we were told that there was a mistake, and we couldn't have an ajoining room unless we slept 3 people in the king sized bed. NOT my idea of a holiday, sleeping with an 11 yr old kid in the bed. It wasn't until my husband took over the discussion that we finally got some satisfaction, They moved us into a suite for the last 2 nights. The "free shuttle in 10 mile radius" only goes south by the way. And they forgot my husband and 4 of our kids at Disneyland, and when he called they said " oh sorry, we will come get you in 45 minutes, we have another group going to dinner" ( which was US) They did eventually come and get him right away, but by this point we were frustrated at always having to fight to be treated right, and I won't stay in a holiday inn again.
