Staying in a Silo
This hotel has an interesting mix of history and comfort. Everything was clean and nice, but my first impression upon going in my room was "what in the world?" The rooms in the silo are actually rooms in a silo. The walls are exposed cement. It was overall very comfortable and a just fine place to stay.

visit to Mom
The front desk staff are very good, my reservation quickly found and I was checked in. The room was spotless, the air conditioner was good but the fan was noisy. The next morning breakfast was just ordinary, no change from one day to the next. The location was close to my mom's so that was why it was chosen.

our room was made with cement walls and the commuter train ran by our room every few minutes would not stay there again the price for mid week stay was alittle pricee

Another Good Stay
I love staying in the silo. However, this time housekeeping was only adequate. Cups were not replaced, the bathroom wastebasket went missing, the remote did not work on the TV (reported). But the front desk was very helpful.

Won't be back
This was our second stay at this location. Our previous stay was in the old grainery. The room had comfort and character and enjoy able stay. This time we were in a standard room - no character and little comfort. The chairs at the table allowed not movement, the micro & fridge were infront of the ventalation system, so it was hard to regulate the heat/ac. This followed by the WORSE TV reception ever. I will not stay in this location again even though it is economically priced with good access to the Spectrum.

La Quinta Inn Irvine
I enjoyed the stay. The room was clean, well kept and there was good food on the other side of the parking lot. There was a little noise from the freeway, but not enough to bug me. The staff was great and I'd go back again.

it was ok
if you stay in the old building which is where we stayed this last time, it was just ok. The train came twice and luckly we were told about it from someone else before so we knew, but it can scare the [*]out of you if you didn't know. Also was really noisy with people coming out of the bar at all hours of the night. The beds were double and were way to small. If I had to stay here again, I would definately pay alittle more for the suites to be in the concrete building. YOu wouldn't get the outside noise as much.

Great Stay
Hotel was near denny's and jack in the box so finding restaurant was not a problem.. Hotel was near hwy I5 so not hidden.. in plain view. Our room decor was modern and sleek but very comfortable - it manages to pull off suite type room. Highly recommend
