Fantastic location for business or pleasure steps from Orange County airport
The Irvine Marriott is only steps away from Orange County beaches and a short trip to exciting local attractions. The hotel offers comfortable stays and a leisurely vacation experience, with free complimentary shuttles to shopping and beaches. The charming palms and fountains in front of the property, and the palette of vibrant colors in the comfortable and inviting lobby, are typical of the Californian experience. Guest can take a dip in the large pool and soak in the sunshine or lounge on the pool deck or hot tub. The two on-site restaurants serve continental food, and the Starbucks and hotel café are there to satisfy any java cravings. The Irvine Marriott hosts events in a large ballroom, with exhibit space and conference rooms for business guests.

Great full-service hotel
Stayed at the Irvine Marriott for a long-weekend. I chose the hotel because it's a Marriott and is close to the airport. I stay at Marriott's when I have business trips and this Marriott delivered everything that was expected. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't use any of the restaurants because I ate out. But I did use room service and they were always quick and the food was good. For parking you have an option of valet or self-park. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Disappointed in CA.
Disappointed
The hotel and location were what I expected. The room was clean and the location to the airport was excellent. However, I was very disappointed in the quality of the staff. Both Saturday and Sunday the breakfast hours were shortend without any notice...on Saturday by 2 hours and on Sunday by 1 hour. Also, I asked for a 5:30 wake up call and never received it. I was just lucky I woke up and didn't miss my plane. I've always received great service when I stay at a Mariott. So this was disappointing.

It's a business hotel
Was ok, staff could be more polite. Not so much fun for kids, nothing to do around on New Year Eve. Room clean, good bed.

Convenient Airport Location
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Beds are the worst I have slept on in years. There was smoking in the rooms along the hallway and had to open the sliding door and put a towel along the door to keep the smoke out. It didn't seem like a typical Marriott quality.

Irvine Marriot Visit
Nice place, but they charge for EVERYTHING extra...$16 to park your car....this should be free! WIFI in room $12.95/day....way too steep. WAKE UP MARRIOT!!!!!!

This is the place to be
Excellent. The accomodations were terrific. The location was great. The staff was attentive and very friendly, eager to please. We had one minor glitch with our TV and it was remedied immediately. Got the hotel as part of a airline/hotel package on cheaptickets.com and paid $100 a night for the hotel. Can't beat that.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Full service hotels should offer in room free internet, like the $60.00/night places--this would have been helpful.

excellant quick getaway
This hotel was very helpful since we had a hard time checking into another hotel half a block away. The other hotel did not even offer for us to get checked in until we had our reservation cleared with orbitz.

Quick Trip to So Cal
