Great for Executives!
I didn't expect much from this hotel as it was one of the best deals in the area. But I was pleasantly surprised shortly after my arrival. I had to switch hotels due to a change in my business trip, and this was 1/3 of the price and far surpassed the previous hotel. The pool area with cabanas is devine; had a delicious and reasonable pool menu with great drinks. Clean, no children running about and Sam was amazing. The music was set to a nice, chill house set and suddenly my business trip that was less than expected wasn't all so bad. They were also very accommodating. I had to check in very early and they brought me in. I had an issue where a Client wanted me to take back a printer to Best Buy, and they offered the free shuttle to take me there when they overheard my conversation and took care of everything. Great deal. It's across from the airport so you're not getting any great views, but if you're on a business trip and want decent, free wifi and a great place to relax and finish your workday, this is it. And the bed was very comfortable. Two thumbs up.

Nothing but the basics
The fancy atrium is just the front: The rooms are basic and a bit dated and showing their age. Older fixtures and wear and tear on the furniture. But, the hotel was clean and conveniently located right by the airport (you can easily walk there from SNA. The shuttle they provide is convenient, and they give you a 3-mile radius, which gets you to UCI, so it's great for a UCI visit.

Irvine Hotel Stay
The hotel lobby was nice; access to our room was difficult as we started at one end of the corridor and then had to transport our luggage across the floor; there were 5 steps that we had to drag our suitcases down (there were no ramps); our room latch didn't close properly, the water leaked from the cold water faucet (it actually leaked when you run the hot water).

Getaway to Orange County
I was very pleased with my stay at the Atrium Hotel. The room was simple, no refrigerator/microwave, but did have coffee server and WiFi. I was very impressed with the comfort of bed and pillows; better than many more exclusive hotels I have stayed at. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant was excellent, despite a limited menu. Had room service for breakfast and dinner several times; food always delivered hot within 20 minutes. I would certainly stay here again.

Hotel close to Irvine airport, freeway I-405, Newport, UCI,... Restaurant in hotel is good. Food is tasty. Food and wine are reasonably priced. The pool within Atrium creates atmosphere for relaxing. No fridge withon room. Can get one with charge.
