vacation

Good value. Would have been good with a fridge in the room. No outdoor dining. Dining room a little dark. Also, food and drinks are quite expensive, go next door (to the hotel next to this one) for fine food and atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel. Big rooms. There are not many restaurants nearby, so you need a car, unless you eat at nearby hotels. nice views of the mountains, good location.

love it...except the MATTRESS!

Great resort. Very relaxing and we loved our stay there...all but fie the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever sleot on. It was so soft it left my entire body in pain and had to power load motrin to be able to move. Will be calling the GM this week to discuss it. There was no one that was on staff Sunday morning to adequately take our complaint. Franks place was a great show. Food was very good , but small portions for the price paid. Cocktails and lunch by the pool was fantastic! Very nice server and as a matter of fact all the serve staff were great. Highly recommend the suites! The tub is a bathaholics dream come true. Overall, we will return but we want a new mattress this time!

Hotel Stay

The front desk was rude and unaccommodating. When we arrived we were given a room with only a king bed even though I asked for 2 double beds. Also, the woman who works the front desk was rude when trying to find out info about Stagecoach. The pool is nice but idk if I'd stay here again.

Peaceful Place

The hotel is in a very good location. About the amenities cannot say its wow, just the ordinary things but you dont feel like anything is missing at that place. Its clean, calm, has a pool and jacuzzi. Although the breakfast is included just expect cakes, bread and coffee, although you can pay for something more than that. Perfect for kids and to rest.

Old CA Feeling

I had to add a night to a conference and couldn't get into the same hotel. This was close by and fit my manager's budget for me. It was clean and neat. Definitely old school with that old Hollywood atmosphere. Felt nastalgic and kind of fun with the old decor and pictures of Lucille Ball, Bob Hope, etc. I couldn't help but think of the stars that had roamed the halls years ago and how it might have felt. The staircase, fountain and pool are nice. Again... in that old CA way. Fun stay. Nothing fancy.

Not bad

Check in was super fast and the front staff was very friendly. I thought the bed was too soft for my comfort. Also, the clock and lights were unplugged. All the doors were quite loud when closing. Finally, the a/c unit does not do fan-and-a/c at the same time, so instead you get an a/c which turns on and off constantly all night. I found it annoying. I would stay here again at a discount, but probably not at full price.

great quiet resort if thats what you are looking for

It is not centrally located if you are looking to walk to dinner places or social places. You will have to drive but the pool area is nice and large.
