dont book here unless you bring extra $ for all the hidden fees

No parking unless you pay $25 a day to valet. rude staff. charged an extra $50 for the room to be cleaned. We will never stay here again & we will make sure none of our friends do either!

it was just ok.

The hotel is in a great location with mostly friendly staff. The hotel needs to work out the kinks with air conditoning systems and unfriendly staff and upgrade the towels. They literally scratched me. It was a little noisy too. The hotel was clean and can easily be made into a 4 star hotel with a few adjustment.

Most expensive hotel in huntington beach, why?

I could have stayed at a resort, paid about 100 dollars less and at least gotten 24 hour room service or a vending machine. This hotel has no pool or gym or really anything at all. It is dog friendly and Jim the night security is absolutely wonderful. Not worth the money unless you have it to spend.

Great Location

This hotel has a great location, close to the pier and Main Street, all within walking distance. In my opinion that was the primary reason for staying here. The restaruant and staff were also awesome. I was disappointed with the room, pretty average. There is no free parking, had to pay $18/day to use valet....but all-in-all had a good vacation

Great staff, disappointing room

Upon arrival, our room was not ready even though we checked in 1.5 hours after the check in time. I was quite upset at first, but the front desk employee apologized genuinely and provided us with free drinks and appetizers at their very nice restaurant, which I was very pleased with. The room was nice but not worth the value of almost $500 per night. The bedroom was very small and the soaking tub was not very comfortable, which was the reason I booked this hotel. The view was very disappointing as we paid for partial ocean view which was very far away and mostly a 'Bud Light' billboard. The hotel was also very loud downstairs and great for people that like to party, but my husband and I were looking for a quiet place, so this was also a little disappointing. Overall it was a decent experience, but definitely not worth the value.

The Beach is the best thing at this Hote

The best thing about this hotel is the beach. The bathrooms are good and large, too bad they are poorly supplied. The room wall's are paper thin and you get to listen to every word that goes on in the rooms next to you, and be ready to be woken up by the bathroom in the next room.

A Decent place

The rooms were very nice, and the bathrooms were huge. There was a few problems that made my stay not great. The area is pretty much all controlled parking, so your stuck paying 24 dollars to have your car valeted (there is no self park at the hotel) which is actually pretty steep for the area. While trying to check in, they acted as though i had no reservation, after which i explained i used [...], and they had me sit for 20 minutes on some very odd chairs in the middle of the lobby until they were able to find the reservation. After which they basically said the wait clearly wasnt their fault but was a technology thing. So then the rooms view was off a wall, pretty crummy in my book since it was suppose to be one of their better rooms (i mean i paid more for it). But the worst part of the stay was the noise! It was literally like being back in my house growing up with my sisters. Loud noises from above, like someone is jumping from the beds to the ground, all night randomnly. Then it was like everyone in the hotel purposedly walked heavily so that noise was pretty constant. And always was the horde of little girls walking by your room loudly talking. To be clear, this wasnt just during the day, it was all throughout the night till i fell asleep at about 2 am. It was all pretty riduclous.

Great Location

The hotel itself was average. Rooms average, furniture in suite low quality. Friendly staff. Great location, but geared for younger crowd. Fitness room average. No parking. Be prepared to pay for valet parking at $24/night. Garage parking cheaper, but no in/out privileges. Continental breakfast, or at least coffee, would have been nice.

Time-saving tip: In Hotel

Keep parking costs in mind. If you are renting a car it will cost 24/night for valet parking. On-street parking very hard or impossible to find. Garage parking has no in/out privileges.

Perfect Location!

Great location...it is perfect for my family...water and pier just across the street and various restaurants in just few steps. However, the airconditioner was not working. We had to call for service twice and it took few hours before we got it working. [...]

needs a little work

Went with a girlfriend for some surfing. Had an ocean view room that was spacious, bathroom was huge. However, given hotel just opened at beg of May, there were MANY kinks that need to be worked out. First, we had no housekeeping service for 3 days. had to call to have them come the first day, 2nd day no one came so we complained. They said a bunch of housekeepers were injured and many rooms did not get serviced. Unacceptable on Memorial Day wknd paying the amount we were for the room. They offered us free breakfast the next morning which was nice. Also front desk staff need to be clear on their policies regarding check-in, internet usage... we got mixed info from them. Location is GREAT, that is prob the best thing. Ocean view rooms also have communal balcony. No pool but beach is right across the street.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Beach is right across the street, lots of surf shops, restaurants nearby. Surfing right across the street or a couple miles down at Bolsa Chica.
