Great price, good location

Worst hotel stay in a long time
Nothing was clean... NOTHING. It's a problem when you have to ask for cleaning materials and you leave the room tidier that when you found it. I would never stay there again.

The hotel was affordable and fairly close to the beaches but the room had a constant smell of cigarettes especially when we first walked into the room. I am a smoker and I could still notice the smell. Also, the room and hotel in general could have been a bit cleaner. There were stains on the carpets in the hallways, etc.

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
Travel to the other beach towns for a good nightlife. There is lots to do closer to the LA area and San Diego has an amazing nightlife.

The ladies at the front desk were nice and helpful. The room was clean, and it was nice to have a little kitchen.
