Excellent room and stay with one minor problem
Excellent room and hotel. Very nice gym. My one minor issue is some food I ordered had a minor problem for which they refunded the full charge for the meal.

Best of Hollywood
Stayed at the W Hollywood several times, the room is pricey of course but the location is prime, you can't fund anywhere closer to the club scene. Staff was very friendly and helpful, other than the valet service which is terribley slow. Had several requests for extra drink glasses etc which were easily taken care of. Usually the pool scene is quite a good party during to day but with it being out of season it was slow even on a 80 degree day. Probably one of my favorite Hotels to stay when doing a Hollywood night.

The the valet guys where very rude. I didn't like the way they would treat people. I would recommend this hotel. But not to rent a car just to avoid the valet

Nice Hotel
A great, centrally located hotel with nice rooms and amenities. The staff was very helpful and we would definitely stay there again. VERY quiet room. Easy access to freeways for all LA attractions.

Close to family
We stay a the w because it' close to family in Los feliz. One person got very sick and the staff suggested a nearby hospital and allowed us to change rooms when the stench of vomit became too much. We also had to extend a day and everyone made it easy.

solid but needs more attention to little details
the hotel is pretty nice. this one was not as nice as some of the others i've stayed at before. somehow seemed like less than the sum of the parts. main thing: the room was too dark even with all of the lights blazing. i kept looking for 'the other light switch' staff was courteous. desk chair was pretty uncomfortable but the bed was extremely comfortable. paying an additional amount per day to have wireless was a bit much. especially since the rooms are already priced on the high side

Not for the bargain hunter
Nice hotel, nice staff, very modern and perfect for someone looking to party. Unfortunately, I was not. I overpaid for a nice place to sleep. Disappointed that there is a $15 charge for internet.

Everything I expected, but two flaws
The hotel truly had a 5 star feel in every aspect and was simply gorgeous. However, there were two flaws. 1) the pool closes at 6pm! If you are in town to enjoy the beaches, you'll be frustrated to get back to the hotel and not be able to enjoy a relaxed drink poolside. The pool closes for the restaurant from 6-10, then it turns into a night club from 10-2am. 2) The hotel did not have free wifi. In fact the wifi cost $15 per day. Wowzers. I'm used to getting it free at the Ritz. Other than those two flaws, I would definitely go back to this hotel as the customer service was 5 plus stars! Loved it. just need more pool time! :)

THE GREATEST THING GOING
It was a whatever, whenever experience. All we had to do was show up and the rest was provided. The only bad thing is that the pool closes at 6pm for parties which was a total bummer! Other than that, it was Great!
