Don't judge a book by its cover
I was weary about booking this hotel since it was located next to the scientology building (didn't want people like tom cruise shoving papers at me) Pulling up into the hotel parking lot I thought "what was I thinking" But the room inside was very nice. Clean with a large tv. It even had a safe inside the closet. The room gets very cold with its own personal ac unit but you have to move the table out of the way a bit because the table blocks the unit. Surprisingly the night was very very quiet. We were also by 3 different hospitals but I wasn't awoken by sirens all night. The bed was so comfortable I was able to watch one tv show and didn't even know I had knocked out until I woke up in the morning. The free breakfast is just the usual fruit, cereal and sweets. Overall if I had to stay in Hollywood again for another concert I would most likely book this hotel again.

Okay for what we needed
We just needed a place to sleep and be gone for the day so this was perfect for us. We were able to get a parking spot by being patient the first night and had no problem the next.

SURPRISINGLY GOOD!
Pluses: AC worked well, huge flat screen, excellent satellite channel selection, breakfast included, USA Today free, touch keys for door, hot water in tub was hottest I've ever felt, free parking Minuses: lot's or sirens, parking was all gone on 2 of my 5 nights when I returned for the evening

The famous Griffith Observatory is only 2.5 miles straight up the hill from the hotel on Vermont Ave.....no turns!

Staff is terrible.
I had a terrible experience at Travelodge. There was trouble flushing the toilet and it need to be unclog. I called the front desk. Their answer was I have to go downstairs and grab the plunger at the front desk and do it myself. I was in shock when he said that's the only service he can provide. He claimed that it is an easy task and I should have no problem doing it. On top of this, my legs got itchy sleeping in the bed. I found bug bites the next day.

It seemed that the place was completely redone since our last stay. Good location to Silverlake. Great for the money. No complaints.

Clean and good located.
Perfect location to explore Hollywood and the universal studios. Bathrooms need an update, but overall ok. Good value for the price you pay.

Good location, average hotel.
It was well located closed to main sightseeing, safe neighborhood. Dont expect much, just a clean bed and hot shower.

Great
This travelodge is in a good location. Easy to walk to many places to eat. I stayed one night for a concert at the Greek Theater, which is about a 10 minute drive. The room was large, comfortable, and clean.
