You will never need any closer hotel to Hollywood walk of fame. Just a perfect location

needed room for one night due to lack of availability at another hotel we moved to the following day.are expectations were pretty low as it was only one night and the location was convenient.our room reeked of ciggarettes.shabby bedding and looked like it had not been redecorated since jim morrison sang at the whiskey agogo.had to call desk five times and force manager to call police due to loud disturbance next door.all in all very shabby, no elevators and just plain awfull.i would not stay here again if the room were for free..

Friendly Staff, Clean Room, Clean Hotel! overall a good experience! As for the free breakfast not a variety! and no bottled water! not a biggie.

We loved the location! Basic hotel but it was good enough for us considering we were never in the room.

We booked this hotel to be close to my best friend. We picked up my brother for his homecoming from Afghanistan. My best friend was nice enough to decorate the room and the staff cooperated with her so we could be surprised when we came in later that day. Breakfast was very average and I wish they had oatmeal instead of doughnuts and muffins. At least they had fruit. The location was pretty central so overall not bad and the price was right.

I really enjoyed the location close to all the tourist spots. The hotel was a basic hotel just a place for us to lay our heads. We were never in the room until it was time to go to sleep.

The hotel was so nice! The price was incredibly cheap so we didn't expect so much. However, the service at the hotel was nice. Very secure and comfortable. We traveled around LA a lot so we didn't "Stay" in our room much. Best deal for someone who's looking for a hotel just to sleep comfortable and secure.

We stayed to visit friends in the area and have another peek at the hollywood walk of fame. Ok stay - good breakfast but we got stuck with a smoking room and the hotel has no-where to hold your baggage if you arrive early and want to look around. I suppose i'd be fine staying again if i wanted to be in that area again. My husband is from overseas, and he felt uncomfortable with the locals -a few guys hassled us for change and were unfriendly when we didn't have any handouts. Grotty looking strip club down the street didn't help improve the atmosphere, but that's hollywood i guess...

The guy @ the front desk was curt & rude, actually a real jerk. The room was clean enough, the bed was really nice, though, with fresh, clean, crisp, white sheets, nice pillows and a nice down comforter under the bedspread. The faucet in the tub/shower ran constantly, not just a drip. WHAT A WASTE of water, environmentally irresponsible!!!! The remote control for the TV didn't work, the rude guy @ the front desk brought a replacement within 5 mins of my call to report it. The free breakfast was very limited, they didn't even have any apples-very mediocre. Great location. It's a very basic room but was good for what I needed. I would stay there again.

The first night we were put into a smoking room even though we reserved a non-smoking room. It smelled horrible, and they couldn't move us. We moved the next day into a non-smoking room, and the shower didn't work properly. It was weak and kept getting cold. Also, our door did not lock properly and it would've been possible for us to be robbed or killed! We didn't know it was broken until we came back and turned the doorknob. Opened right up without the key. The remote to the tv was missing, but it didn't matter because their are only a handful of channels, with no CBS at all! Only good thing was location.
