Very quaint and convenient
The hotel was very close to Hollywood Walk Of Fame and the metro. It was fairly easy to visit Universal Studios as well. The staff was beyond welcoming: helpful, friendly and genuine. It was a nice surprise that the hotel offered customary snacks and soft drinks. They also arranged a free shuttle to a near by Asian restaurant which I highly recommend! Very enjoyable visit all together!

Local to all you need to do in Hollywood
Everything positive that has been said about this hotel is true, a couple of days during our stay the pool was out of use due to maintenance, and the staff were beside themselves as our son couldn't use it, so organised to transport him (and us# to a different local hotel that had a pool to allow him to have a swim there #the entire time their pool was out of action). Staff couldntn't do enough for you, from organising trips to getting you on the right bus train or taxi. Tuck shop that overflowed for kids and adults alike, continental breakfast the went on for ever, a smile every time you saw them... brilliant ..

Exceeding Expectations
While a bit aged, this hotel surprised us positively in every aspect. From the arrival "Champagne" lemonade, to the free snacks, sodas and DVD's, to the exceptional pastries on the breakfast table, we could not have wanted. better. Little did we know when we booked it, how convenient the location was as well. We could walk to many sought out locations , shops and stores. Next visit we will definitely reserve a night at the Magic Castle restaurant and take in the show. We found out you don't need formal attire, just a coat and tie which you can get from the front desk. I understand the magic show there is one of the best anywhere. it is usually "member's only". Give this hotel a try!

Best place for a Hollywood stay!
Staff aims to please. It's a great place to stay. Only drawback is that parking garage is tight for a minivan.

Amazing location & Staff!
We totally loved this hotel! It was in an incredible location and oozing with character. The staff was incredible and the amenities were wonderful - complimentary use of umbrellas when it was raining, complimentary snacks 24/7. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location in Hollywood
Lovely, quaint hotel just a couple blocks from the Chinese Theatre and other Hollywood attractions. The staff is amazing - extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel has a cool throwback feel and even though it is an older hotel, that adds to the charm. Spacious room, comfy bed. Take advantage of the hotel making a reservation next door at the magic castle club - a very unique experience.

Fantastic place to stay
Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was spacious and clean with 3 flat screen tv's and DVD's which are free to hire at the hotel. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful and even the hotel management welcomed guests. The pool is open 24 hrs a day, heated and is checked daily. Sun loungers and poolside towels makes it a lovely place to relax. Breakfast is complimentary with a fantastic choice and everything fresh. Having free chocolate, sweets, crisps, snacks and cans of pop saved us a fortune and was a lovely touch especially if you have a few children or even adults to buy for. The hotel is just a short street away from the middle of the Walk of Fame so you can feel safe about not getting lost. I have stayed close by to the Walk of Fame before but will most definitely be back to stay at the Magic Castle again. It's a 3 star rating but most definitely a 5 star service. Don't be fooled by the bigger more popular chains of hotels with lack of personal customer service. Stay here.

Super Hollywood hideaway
Great place to stay while visiting Hollywood. We were able to sightsee during the day and relax at night in the wonderful heated pool. The location was close to Hollywood Blvd., Chinese Theatre, and very interesting Hollywood Museum/Mel's Diner. The hotel had fabulous customer service with free snacks, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Great Location, great staff!
Everything about this hotel was nice except for the initial outside appearance. If a friend of mine had not told me about it I'm not sure we would have stopped here. However, once inside the rooms are clean, nice and comfy! We had a bedroom, living room with pull out couch, eating area and nice size kitchen with all the amenities you would need for a short stay. The hotel provides free snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, free DVD's and free breakfast. The pool is small but it was heated to 85. We were one block from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Kodak Theater and all that stuff. I would stay here again no problem. Their customer service is top notch.
