Close to everything
It was located next to all the tourist attractions, so if you like that stuff or just need to cross it off the bucket list it is a nice place.

Fun hotel, but loud.
I stayed at this hotel on a business trip. I would not recommend it for business travel because it was very loud at night with receptions and events being hosted there. However, it would be a fun hotel to stay at for vacation. They have outdoor movie night at the pool and the bar by the pool seems to turn things into a night club atmosphere during the warm "summer" nights. Also, the air conditioner was so loud that I had to turn it off at night to be able to sleep - and I'm the type of person that can sleep through just about anything. Bottom line: If you're going to Hollywood for fun and don't plan to sleep much anyways, this hotel is perfect for you. If you're traveling for business or with kids, stay away!

Location, location, location...
Got a very quiet room facing Hollywood Boulevard, but woke up many times with the loud (and old) air conditioner switching on and off. Tiny bathroom with no pressured water, no space to keep my travel kit or a cup for the toothbrush. Poor channel selection on TV. Room was clean, but for the price I would expect a lot more.

Great Locations and Facilities.
Excellent location and facilities. Great pool party on weekends. Don't get a room near the pool if you don't want to stay up late.

One of my Best experiences!!
Simply Phenomenal. Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, they even upgraded my room for free. Very fancy rooms, clean, comfortable, perfect for young couples or small groups that are looking to have fun. They have pool parties with live DJ playing almost eveyr night. I got to see some celebrities hangin out there too. Amazing experience and the price was unbelivable, compared to the amazing luxurious accomodations of this hotel. I'd definitely go back!

Hotel experience
The hotel/room was clean, historic, and in a great location across from the wax museum and Grauman's chinese theater. The elevators were slow (up to 30 minute wait at times), but otherwise my stay was great. The staff was professional and helpful.

Good Time
Good hotel for fun pool party atmosphere. Great location, however staff were not as freindly or welcoming. E.x. front-desk staff acted as if they are doing you a favor for checking you in or when I asked for a glass of water with my lunch order at the pool the waitress pointed to the bar area for me to go get my own water.
