Hollywood Heights Hotel

renovation, advertised as not being able to use pool and restaurant closed. But actually had to walk thru construction zone to get to room. Construction workers were all over the place and noisy outside window early in AM. Requested, but, were told there were no king size beds available, although the hotel did not seem very full. Wall paint scuffed, bad smell in room, bathtub not clean

I've stayed at the Fairmont when they underwent renovations and didn't see nor hear a peep but Hollywood heights appears VERY greedy to keep this place open during their renovations. Random blaring alarms with no staff announcements or apologies. Elevator lobby is frightening. Dust is alarming. NO MENTION THAT THERE IS NO RESTAURANT AND ROOM SERVICE AVAILABLE!!! This was not communicated in blurb on hotel! The hotel even still has little cue cards on your bed that their restaurant is open til midnight, when it's UNDER RENOVATION! Had a 4 night stay and checked out by night 2! Not peaceful, noisy, no amenities! Went right next door. 18 TIMES BETTER!

We had late check-in but it was great to be by the hollywood bowl, and take a walk on hollywood blvd by walking a couple blocks down, music at bar downstairs was cool and respectable..Overall cool place

Outdoor parking more expensive than covered parking next door! Dining room odors percolate through to the entrance lobby. Rooms are tired. Other guests complained about swim suits being discolored by hot tub.

i would recommend this hotel based on location, but not on cleaniness. the staff was great.

Room was standard, definitely not deserving of the $200+ it cost for the night. Front desk staff was very courteous but there was a long line and only one attendant.

Price is good, staff is very friendly and the location is within walking distance to the Walk of Fame.

I spent quite sometime looking into numerous hotels and I thought Hollywood Heights would be perfect. I had a budgeted spending $350 on a hotel after everything and I actually ended up spending well over that because I thought this hotel would be worth it. First of all at check in the staff informs us that the "KING DELUXE" that we booked was full so we were forced to have another room. We get into our hotel and it was a "HANDICAPPED" room. The room was clean I will give them that, but the bathtub had yellow stains drenched on it, the outlet in the bathroom did not work,and the room was tiny. I thought I was going to get what I paid for, but there was no safe and mini refrigerator like advertised on [...]. Because there was no safe provided I did not feel comfortable so I decided to leave the "do not disturb" sign and housekeeping completely ignored it and still entered the room. Also I need to mention that parking is $30/day. This hotel was not worth the money at all. Travelers invest your money elsewhere especially if it is for your birthday :(

Hotel was central to Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood/Highland Shopping area and Graumans Theatre. Lots to see and do. Staff was very friendly. Beds very comfortable and shower was great. A couple of minor glitches were dealt with right away and none affected the stay. Restaurant was great, especially the dinner special 3 for $20. Food was excellent. Thought breakfast was expensive but it was good. Definitely stay again if in the area

Smooth check in,check out, good client service and nice open buffet breakfast with reasonable price. The location of the hotel is the best only two blocks(5 minutes walking distance) to Hollywood with popular attractions such as Kodak Theater,Chinese theater, restaurants and bars etc....
