Hollywood Celebrity Hotel

Loved this place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was amazing on quiet and quaint side street just one block from craziness of the Hollywood walk of fame. Unbelievable value for quality of rooms and location. If I had to find fault with anything it would be that the included continental breakfast was a little lacking in choices but what was there was very good and really more than adequate.

This was a nice little hotel off in the cut behind the Roosevelt hotel. On a quiet street which is GREAT. The hotel staff were all extremely polite. The hotel itself is pretty old but very well kept. Other huge pluses for us was the free wi-fi, breakfast and a nice outdoor patio for relaxing. The rustle and bustle of Hollywood was a bit intimidating for a tourist however the hotel and location made me feel very safe and relaxed.

I stayed at the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel on my trip to LA and Hollywood in May. It was one street behind Hollywood Blvd on a dead end street by a few other small hotels and residences. There was a shopping center with dining right through a corridor and the Walk of Fame was right on the other street, behind Grauman's Chinese. Within walking distance of the metro and main Hollywoo Blvd attractions. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem was that where my room was it was very noisy late at night. Overall I did enjoy my stay and probably would stay there again because of the prime location.

Excellent location, very short walk to Hollywood Boulevard. Quirky hotel, very art deco with old film posters all over. Large room with fridge and microwave, table and chairs, but no crockery/cutlery, etc. Quick efficient check in. Complimentary breakfast, toast/muffins/croissants/juice/tea/coffee. Seemed noisy at times due to thin walls and open access areas. Would recommend.

This was our first visit to Hollywood, and I am thrilled with the location of our hotel. We only had 2 days there and we saw and did everything in easy walking distance from our hotel. Less than 100m from the door of the hotel to the Kodak Theatre shopping centre. Hotel Staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for us. We would highly recommend.It is an old motel, but very clean and well run with friendly service.

Very close to the Hollywood Highland shopping mall. You don't need to detour. It's 100 meters to the back entrance of the mall. Perfect location.

My experience at this hotel was extremely unpleasant. Parking was very difficult to find within the parking area they had allotted, and I was nervous that my car would get hit. We were placed on the first floor right where everyone walked by, so it was extremely loud. The place is on the older end, and I have SO many complaints about it but alas, the location makes up for it ALL! I consider myself a little spoiled when it comes to hotels, though... so to be honest, this place isn't actually ALL that bad. 1) free breakfast = AWESOME! Like I said, since we were right up at the front, I just reached out, grabbed a bunch of food, and juice, and ate in my room. 2) room was SPACIOUS. we had two full beds, there was a kitchen, a vanity area, another table, and the bathroom. 3) of course, location! the location was PRIME. it was nice to crawl back into the hotel after walking around hollywood and taking pictures, and it was nice to wake up to all of it. los angeles always seemed a little sketchy to me, but since there are so many tourists around, it's not too bad.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to Hollywood Boulevard's main attractions. The room was a good size, but in terms of quality and comfort it was just decent (a bit worn and plain). If you are looking for an affordable hotel in a great location, this is a good choice.
