Days Inn Hollywood Near Universal Studios

The Days Inn by Universal Studios is just two blocks away from Hollywood Blvd and the Kodak Theatre. What a surprise! It's quiet, peaceful and relaxing! The courtyard where the pool is located reminds me of the 1990's TV show Melrose Place. The place is clean, beds are comfortable, and it's near everything!

The check in/and check out went great. The hotel staff was very accomodating and the Rooms were very clean. Overall a good experience.

I am glad i picked this hotel the location was great! It was hard to tell if it was where I truely wanted to be but it was great! about a block or 2 up the road was the Chinses Mann, and rest is history.... deff tourist location! People at the hotel were very nice, the hotel was nice, very clean and while in teh hotel you would nevere guess what the oustdie area was like or about! very nice!

The Days Inn Hollywood was a very comporable hotel for the amount of money you pay. The rooms were ready at check in. There was no delay. Rooms were clean. Front staff was veryy friendly and attentive. It was close to hollywood blvd only a few blocks away. In-N-Out was right next door. Internet cafe right down the street. Perfect location if your going to sight see. But far from Weho which was about a $20 cab ride, ick!. All in all i was very satisfied with this hotel.

The hotel was walking distance from hollywood Blvd., which was great. The staff was friendly and curteous. The room were clean and spacious for a couple. The complimentary breakfast was very good. They also had great tour packages which were fun. We really enjoyed staying in Days Inn and look forward to stay there again if we go to LA.

the people are friendly and the location is great. It's close to hollywood, and there is a metro station on the hollywood highland. There is also a visitor center and a big shopping center near the metro station.

Was a little worried when we first went into the room as it smelt very bad. Smelt like it had been closed up for weeks. It was a strong, overpowering, musty smell which almost made us request another room. We overcame the problem by opening the sliding door which made the smell bearable. We were also disappointed that we had no chairs for the table in the room. It made it difficult to work on the laptops and to eat dinner in our room. The redeeming feature of the room was the bed was the most comfortable one we had slept on during our three week vacation in USA. Overall the service of the staff was excellent though. And we offer our thanks to the maintenance staff member who retrieved my wifes earring from the sink. She was most grateful.

Although we felt the price was on the high side we enjoyed staying at this Days Inn. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly whenever we asked questions. The continental breakfast was good, not great, but good. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Days Inn Hotel is in a very central location to Universal Studios ($10 taxi ride) & only 1 block away (about 5 min walk) from all the famous Hollywood action. The staff are very friendly & helpful & we loved the FREE breakfast every morning downstairs. The rooms are basic with microwave & bar fridge & small balcony overlooking the hotel pool area but that is all you need when you consider just how much time you actually spend in a hotel room when on holidays. Yes the hotel is old but it is comfortable & very affordable. The one thing I didnt like about the hotel was the noise from the pool area at night & listening to the next door neighbours conversations....but after a long day sight seeing you soon fall asleep & forget about all that. Overall, I would stay there again & recommend to other travellers.
