great hotel, will stay here again
the people are friendly and the location is great. It's close to hollywood, and there is a metro station on the hollywood highland. There is also a visitor center and a big shopping center near the metro station.

Nice hotel
The hotel was nice and the staff was professional. The also felt safe because u need your key to get access to the rooms and the pool. The pool is also heated.

Very enjoyable experience, the pricing is very good and the staff were helpful and friendly, we enjoyed the continental breakfast as we have not only coffee and bread but a variety of cereals and fruit. Although is located to steps to Hollywood boulevard the area feels safer. Will definitively stay again.

Days Inn Hotel is in a very central
Days Inn Hotel is in a very central location to Universal Studios ($10 taxi ride) & only 1 block away (about 5 min walk) from all the famous Hollywood action. The staff are very friendly & helpful & we loved the FREE breakfast every morning downstairs. The rooms are basic with microwave & bar fridge & small balcony overlooking the hotel pool area but that is all you need when you consider just how much time you actually spend in a hotel room when on holidays. Yes the hotel is old but it is comfortable & very affordable. The one thing I didnt like about the hotel was the noise from the pool area at night & listening to the next door neighbours conversations....but after a long day sight seeing you soon fall asleep & forget about all that. Overall, I would stay there again & recommend to other travellers.

SUPERB!!
We went out to L.A. for a concert. I was totally expecting some grungy spot for sunset blvd. NOT BAD AT ALL. Very nice, especially for the price. i would definetly check it out on a budget or not.

Good location for looking around Hollywood Boulevard and tinsel town. View from room was poor, looking at a brick wall. No security screen at night so couldn't leave window open for fresh air. Breakfast, get in early, otherwise standing room only.

Location
Took the Super Shuttle bus from LAX to Days Inn. Check in and out was no problem. Breakfast was fine n adequate for us. Some restaurants nearby, and a big shoes store within walking distance. We walked to Union Square to take Metro(Hollywood Highland station) about 15mins' walk. Along the way you will see Walk of Fame, some shopping malls n restaurants. Days inn is in a quiet location, yet it is close to restaurants n shopping areas. Room was clean n beds were comfy. Overall we enjoyed the stay, would recommend to stay here. (the hotel is not near to Universal Studio, unless it is by car? But we took the Metro, so it was ok)

Next door is the Ihop restaurant, good food. They give a discount if you return to dine again( can't remember if it is 10/20% n within 24/72hrs?) so retain their receipt, if you want to re-visit.

Good hotel
It was nice to have a breakfast, even though the breakfast room was small. The location was great, very close to Universal Studio and just two streets from Hollywood boulevard.Nice place to visit LA. And there is an undergroung garage for 8$ per day; that was great !

Lady at reception was rude. Booked
Lady at reception was rude. Booked a shuttle to the airport that showed up an hour late, were pushed to miss the flight. Bfast is good, pool was not nice. We had to pay for a safe in the room that we did not use, part of the hotel policy supposidly! Good location near hollywood boulevard.
