Coolest Cafe in LA
The room size is typical of a hotel built many decades ago but the remodel that created the spacious bathroom was inspiring. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker really make it habitable. The cinema-influenced decor is just kitschie enough. But the highlight here is Cafe 101. Great food (B,L,D) at all hours (7am to 3am!) uber-hip staff and emerging stars and industry folks make for some interesting people-watching. Close to great dining and entertainment, it's a great stay.

Perfect For West Hollywood Scene
The Best Western in West Hollywood is located in a perfect central location for the Sunset Strip, The Grove, and all the Hollywood restaurants and clubs. Everything was perfect for my needs. The only problem was that the sheets on the bed don't really stay on the bed as good as they should, and the only ice machine is on the first floor of the 3 floors. They also charge $2 for a can of pop and the machine is a LITTLE outdated. Otherwise a great experience, and I will be returning....
