Best Western Parking Victim
Awful
I booked this hotel based on the good reviews [...] there is forced valet parking at this hotel regardless of the fact that the parking lot is so small if you fell over in the direction of your car, you would land on it. So you stand there while a valet takes your keys and walks 10 feet to your car in order to drive it over to you. Be sure to add that constant tipping to your parking fee.I can see why this place was reviewed in a favorable way since the rooms are good, but you have a lot of choices in LA/Hollywood. If you're going to get ganked for parking you might as well do it at a place where the terms are clear and hotel managers honor their word. If this review can hopefully dissuade even one person from booking this hotel I will consider the $10 this place stole from me to be money well spent. Come on, person considering booking this place! Do the right thing!

Noisy hotel
There was no ESPN channel. Somethings were "jerry rigged" to work. The window in the bathroom wouldn't lock and shut. The pool was absolutely clear and clean. You could hear people walking by and sitting outside being noisy and obnoxious. Parking may be free, but there is very little of it and it's only a 6 or so foot clearance. Not worth the price, nor was it a 3 star hotel!!

Good hotel but small room
Overall, the hotel is good and acceptable. The location is quite near the Kodak and Universal Studio. The room is small and no free breakfast.

Good Location
The best western hollywood hills was some what comfortable, the room was average sized but the bathroom was very small, it advertised a double vanity but there was only one, there was no hot water for a shower the first morning we were there, and no water at all the second morning, a pipe burst and the water was turned off to the building. The little refrigerator and cabinet area was a plus. The best thing was location location location, walking distance to the sites and the metro lines.

Hip and Clean!
I have stayed here many times and love the location and the diner downstairs......but there was construction across the street that was very, very noisy!

vegas to LA, all the time
I'm a regular for a reason!
I come to LA often and stay here everytime. The staff is super helpful, the location is prime and the rooms are clean and well equiped. Try to stay in the back building because the main one can be a bit noisy.
