Trendy Hotel
Overall good experience. Like the Hollywood theme decor throughout hotel. There are two separate building. The rooms located where the lobby is are larger and nicer. may cost a little more but worth it.

My new "Go-to" place
Great location and very friendly and accommodating staff. The valets are GREAT guys! The desk staff were eager to make my time there as excellent as possible. And, they did! The room was very comfortable and squeaky clean. The bed was comfy. Bathroom lighting was fantastic! Nice size as well. There was also a fridge, coffeemaker and microwave. Very nice! My only issue is these coffeemakers which use the paper pouches with pre-measured coffee. Always weak and tasteless. But, to fix that situation, just go downstairs to the 101 Cafe/Coffeeshop and get a coffee to go! There was a pool, which looked clean and clear -- very well maintained. I did not use it only because it was November and I didn't bring a suit! I will definitely return and tell friends about this spot. Just a quick walk to Hollywood Blvd, as well.

Kabuki Restaurant on Vine Street. Excellent food and amazing value! Within walking distance if you are up for a little exercise, but not too far or taxing.

good value, convenient location
needed more towel bars in the bathroom. Fun decor with lots of celeb photos. 101 cafe has good food. Walking distance to many Hollywood sights.

Best Western Parking Victim
Awful
I booked this hotel based on the good reviews [...] there is forced valet parking at this hotel regardless of the fact that the parking lot is so small if you fell over in the direction of your car, you would land on it. So you stand there while a valet takes your keys and walks 10 feet to your car in order to drive it over to you. Be sure to add that constant tipping to your parking fee.I can see why this place was reviewed in a favorable way since the rooms are good, but you have a lot of choices in LA/Hollywood. If you're going to get ganked for parking you might as well do it at a place where the terms are clear and hotel managers honor their word. If this review can hopefully dissuade even one person from booking this hotel I will consider the $10 this place stole from me to be money well spent. Come on, person considering booking this place! Do the right thing!

Not too shaby
Construction almost complete. This was the third time I stayed here. Really looking great. Perfect location. Staff was super nice. Rooms were clean and big. 101 cafe is good food and great people watching. It was a lot of fun. A little loud at night, but what can be expected? It's Hollywood.

It's really hard to miss. Lot's of good places to have a drink. Hollywood is a cocktail town. If you want a good beer go to Lucky Devil on Hollywood. 10 minute walk. The Parlor Room is really cool too.
