Price
for the price i was expecting a bigger room with more Amenities at the hotle. Pool was nice, but small and the jacuzzi didn't work. Rooms were nice and clean, but small and the matress was hard. Hotel staff was nice and quick. Location was perfect for visiting Universal Studios. 2 miles away and easy to get to from the freeway. We were also about a mile away from Hollywood Blvd. Plenty of things to do in the area

Overall good experience
Although we confirmed our stay a day ahead of our stay, we arrived to find that the hotel didn't have the room we selected. Instead of two double beds, we had one king and a small trundle delivered to the room. Overall we were disappointed with the room that first night. However, they were able to move us into our selected room the next day and it met our expectations. Service was really pretty good. Restaurant was small but offered a good variety and very good service. Rates ok and location is excellent.

Moving Child to college in LA
I was moving my child to college in LA and needed a place to stay that was close to downtown LA but not priced like downtown LA. This fit the bill. It was a reasonable price, close to the freeway. It is close to Hollywood Blvd and the other tourist sites in Hollywood. Worked well to do some site seeing and and manage the things needed to get my child settle for college. Easy access to the freeway allowed us to visit Venice Beach on the weekend. The room was clean and well kept. It is what you would expect for a Best Western not luxury but clean, comfortable and the location was just what I needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay where the hotel is not the destination. Staff was kind.

A trip to see Ellen
My daughter and I stayed here for 2 short days, we had tickets to Ellen show. We didn't want to stay in Burbank and this was the perfect place for us! Hotel was easy to find, parking was free(huge bonus) and we were a 2 minute walk to Hollywood Blvd, which was great. We weren't at the hotel very long but the staff was very helpful and friendly, the pool looked very nice although we didn't get a chance to use it. The hotel was less than 15 mins from Warner Bros studio(to see Ellen) so this was an ideal place for us to stay and easy to get to and from LAX too. Would definitely stay here again!!

Clean and Convenient Hotel
This Hollywood hotel was exceptionally clean and modern. Loved having the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The mattress wasn't bad, but wish the beds had been queen rather than full. Not a lot of extra space in the room, but the location of the hotel outweighed having extra room. Walking distance to the Hollywood walk of stars!

good location for downtown hollywood
The room was very clean. We were in a good location just 2 blocks away from Grauman's theater and Starline Tours. The food in the restaurant was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

LA Getaway
The location of the hotel is ideal for travelers that want to walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame or Mann's Chinese Theater. You will need a car to travel everywhere else. The hotel was nice and clean. The only issue that I had was the noise. We were here for the All Star Basketball weekend, but we were leaving on Saturday. Friday night was really loud and noisy and we weren't able to sleep because of the loud guests. Other than that, it was quiet the rest of the time that we were here.

Quick Hollywood Visit
Checked in on 11/10/10 and spent two nights. The desk clerk was very cordial and was able to provide helpful information about activties in the area. The room was smaller than expected, but was clean and comfortable. Very nice shower. The hotel is conveniently located near Hollywood Blvd. and Highway 101. Universal and Warner Bros. Studios were just a short drive away. The hotel is a good value for the location.

GREAT TRIP
no problems other than the unavailability of a handicap room. I will never again continue with a reservation that cannot give that guarantee.
