Great place to stay
Clean and comfortable. A bit disappointed that the pool and spa were being renovated. Good selection of breakfasts and a wide variety each day. Staff was nice and accommodating. Enjoyed the stay. The location was very convenient for us.

Unhappy Camper
Never Again.
I paid a great deal of money to bring my daughter in law and grandchild out to CA for a "Beach Vacation". My son is in the military, stationed in GA and we were looking forward to spending time w/them. I wish I had known that the hotel was undergoing renovations. It was not safe for my 2 yr old grandchild. There were huge plastic sheets hanging all over the walls/rooms. There was a dumpster for the construction crew out in parking lot with debris all around it. When we went to car in the morning, it was covered with dust from work. Our toilet got stopped up our third day. I repeatedly called front desk. No answer. I went down and the manager of the day was on the phone. I waited 10 minutes and he never even acknowledged me. We had to use the bathroom downstairs in lobby. We were on the 3rd floor. That is just ridiculous. I will not use this service again to locate a hotel. There was just too much wrong w/this hotel to risk my money again. We did not enjoy our stay at all.

There was a very nice hotel much closer to Redondo Pier that had available rooms for same price or less. It's right on the beach. Next time, we will make reservations directly with facility. There is a restaurant in hotel, a park across the street w/playground, and it's a short walk to pier.

If you need a haircut while in Hermosa Beach - I recommend Floyd's Barbership. Internet while you wait, good cut's, good prices.

great place wonderful staff
I stayed there while waiting for my house to close. The staff was so nice and helpful. The rooms were large, very clean and comfortable. There was a microwave and refrig which was handy for the stay. It was fairly close to the beach and shopping was next door. It even had a peak-a-boo view of the ocean. But the best part of the stay was the friendly staff and the assortment of tv channels available. I wish I could have stayed longer but my house was ready.

Business Traveler
Good location
I was looking for a hotel in a good location for business meetings AND would allow me to run along the beach. Being from TX, it's not every day that I get to see the ocean. This hotel is 4 blocks from the Hermosa Beach Strand which is a perfect place to run or walk. There are a couple of restaurants within a few blocks but plenty more within a short drive. The parking was very convenient, staff was nice, room was fine, complimentary breakfast was good. Being along Pacific Coast Highway (4 lane commercial road) did create some ambient noise but nothing too bad. If you're a business traveler with clients close by and enjoy a quick run to the beach, this is a good choice.

It was nice....
The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet in general. It was nice that they had a computer set up in the lobby with internet access for the guests to use...I was disappointed with the fact they didn't have any on demand movies and the bed was not that comfortable.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly, and even opended the pool for us after hours. However, the room smelled and there were ants throughout our room and bathroom.

"Unbeatable locatin for the price"

LA Visit
Me and my friends were been for LA visiting for entertainmant. However our experience were not too good in LA traveling. Since we rented a car so we didn't face any difficulties but public transport is not available over there. So if u r going with ur car then its a quiet and peaceful location. one more thing if u r thinking of night out or so then don't forget to collect ur food on the way back as u won't found any food place open after 11:00PM
