Old Hotel that's at least clean.

If you're a city dweller looking for a cheap place near the airport this will be fine for you. Noise can be an issue and the hotel is way past it's prime, but it's clean. Parking is a big issue on a weekend so if you're renting a car get something small and compact so you can get into a parking space others can't. Pros: Clean room, forgot a bottle opener and one was attached to the bathroom counter top (never seen that), pretty decent pressure on shower head. Cons: Old elevator with mismatched buttons and some that do not work. NO ICE MACHINE (or they're hidden way to well), problems with key cards, terrible parking, no remote control in room, TV looked new but was setup horribly (bad signal on some channels).

Worst Hotel Experience

There were so many things wrong with this hotel that we left after one night!!!! The room carpet, furniture, window covers and towels were torn, tattered and worn out. The room was filthy and it was hard to even imagine when the room was vacuumed last. There was mold in the bathroom. We went to check out the pool, which was closed, and hot tub which was full of beer cans and towels. The hotel smelled of marijuana. We couldn't locate anyone at the front desk or on the phone to talk about the issues. We left the restaurant to check out the area. When we returned there were several individuals hanging out in the lobby but still no one behind the front desk. We felt very uncomfortable with staying and left the following day travelling to another Ramada that I had stayed in previously in Carlsbad, CA. I am surprised that Ramada continues to have their name on this hotel.

2 miles South of LAX

$89/night for Nov. 21, about 2 miles South of LAX, tucked in by the 405 and ramp. I heard more the traffic from El Segundo Blvd. Noisier, but not too bad. Lobby has Racket pay-computer, so I waited till the airport to get my boarding passes. There's a non-24-hour shuttle; attached restaurant / bar; outdoor seasonal pool, parking garage.

Ants, Bad WiFi and Pesky Charges

Close to I 405 and LAX. Got to the room late. Wifi was very weak in my room-basically useless. As I went to sleep I thought I felt a tickle on my back-when I woke up I found ants crawling on both arms. Many ants in bed, tub and vanity area. The hotel claimed they had treated that floor within the past month. Then when checking out and wanting to print my boarding pass the lobby computer charged by the minute for access and by the page for printing. There are better choices in the area.

。never stay at RAMADA

It was really bad experience for us to stay at RAMADA hotel for 5 nights. Our room had a lot of ants and phone in our room was not working at all. We had complaining about it and asked them to change room. But, they said no room open for us. They supposed to fix those problem, but they didn't do anything at all. Every 2ndays we couldn't open our room with card key. Because they changed the card system without any notice. Wehn we came back to hotel late at night, we have to tell them that room key is not working. I always traell around US but, this is the most worst hotel I ever stayed. Don't go there'.

Improvement needed

Sorry I was trying to write a review and it dissapeared so I am going to try again. I am dissapointed with the restaurant. there was a breakfast and lunch buffet advertised. When I went down at breakfast time it was still closed. I asked when it would open. They were not sure since the staff was late When it finally opened all they had was pancakes, potatoes, and sliced melon. I askedif there was any eggs or toast.they said no but they could fix me some.I asked for ice tea, they did not have any. I asked for a diet pop, they said their machine was out of order. I thought perhaps lunch would be better. When I went down at lunchtime there was no buffet at all. They told me I could order from a menu. I wanted teriaki chicken, but was told they were out of sesame oil. The lady at the front desk told me there was a Denny'son the next block.I went down to the end of the block and there was a big sign that said No Pedestrian crossing. I went down to the other end of the block and there was another sign that said the same thing. I went back inside and asked how am I able to get to the Denny's if there is no crossing allowed. They said just cross anyway. That does not seem safe. There were creepy guys with tattoos hanging around in the lobby when ever I came through and also by the pool.
