Reasonably priced, good location
We enjoyed everything about this property except for one thing, but it's kind of a major thing: the bed was as hard as a board! Very uncomfortable, and I like firm mattresses! Otherwise it was fine.

Kyoto Seafood Buffet is walking distance from this property, so we decided to try it just because it was so close. It was wonderful and very reasonably priced.

Homestead away from home
We stayed at the Homestead while we were in California for the Rose Bowl, all the way from Wisconsin. Not the fanciest hotel I've ever been to, but the Homestead was clean and in a great location. I would especially recommend this hotel to someone staying for a week or more, considering the accommodations (laundry, mini-kitchen - stove/oven, large refrigerator, sink, microwave, and even dishes!).

Nice for the Price
Hotel was nice - I was there on New Years Eve and there were lots of kids in the hall I was in - so super noisy. The great woman working at the front desk moved my room to a quiet part of the hotel and was really gracious! Very plain room, but fine for a business traveler. I'd stay there again!

Homestead Los Angeles - Glendale
Really nice staff. Room was dirty deep down. I know it is hard to clean after an extended stay but things like the remote control and telephone were very, very dirty. The coffee pot was sticky, greasy to touch. The front of toilet had prior use evidence. Overall general appearance and smell were fine. I just tend to notice the things I touch with more detail. Hotel was clean, nice room, great staff. It wasn't fancy but it was really efficient and perfectly comfortable. Nice area and beautiful neighborhood

Pleasant location. Near BURbank airport
Beautiful area. Near Burbank Bob Hope Airport. Short drive to parks including Griffith Observatory and planetarium. Staff was friendly, but some Front Desk people could not understand "I need more coffee" or explain why there were no towels available to exchange at certain times.
