Shopping mall has many eating facilities but there are other nice restaurants with a few other blocks all walking distance.

Hollywood Week
David in front desk the best!!!! He gave us directions and fix the tv that was not working.The mall nearby have great places to eat and everything is close enough to walk or drive by.

The hotel was fairly clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. In the heart of Galleria shopping area, great resturants walking distance. The pool was small but very nice. Didn't like you had to bring towels from the room. The continental breakfast was adequate. I would stay again.

Great family resturant, The Cheesecake Resturant, A great Italian, Amachi's. There is the Galleri shopping area within a block with many resturants and naturally great shopping.

unbeatable location for the price
Location is great! Next to Americana plaza for fun, shopping, book store, food, etc. very safe to be out late at night. the rooms were a bit on a small size, but clean. pool also small, but was from 3feet to 7 feet at the deep end. hot tub was a good size. breakfast included bagels, cream cheese, sometimes some pastries, cereals, coffee, juice....very basic, but that was enough for us.All in all we were very happy with our choice and very close to our friends.

They lost my powercord!
Stayed there for three nights, on the third day they unilaterally moved my things during the day to another room and lost my powercord. They said they had found it, but three days later, I still dont have it. Other than that, the rooms are noisy.

It's ok for the price
Good location for shopping but I was there for business. Rooms are really dated (early 80's). The bed was comfortable but the pillows on the bed were horrible and flat as boards.

Pleasant Stay
Even though a little old, the room was comfortable, well equipped with microwave and small fridge. The bed was good. The only problem was that the air conditioner was not working well.

Pleasant stay, great people & location
This hotel has been upgraded on the outside. Inside is more retro, and very clean. Nice huge hibiscus near the pool.

Foxy's family restaurant across the way offers 10% discount to hotel guests. The Americana is directly behind the property and has numerous restaurants, shopping and train rides.

Always a Great Stay!!
The staff at The Golden Key is the best! They are always willing to help you and are always happy to see you! It's not the Ritz but it is a very clean hotel with great showers and very comfortable beds. They have a nice pool and big hot tub. The Golden Key is also in an awesome location right near the Galleria Mall, movie theaters and excellent dining spots.

i left
I had called and ask if they had a specific channel because I did not want to miss a game, which was the reason I got a room and when I got there the channel did not work. I was lied to and left the hotel did not even sleep there. I told the front desk and they said they will work on it but never happened. I was lied to.
