Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GARDEN GROVE

Hotel was fine, what you would expect for a HI-Express. Elevator strangely slow, but not a real problem. Can buy limited types of park tickets at the desk to speed entrance to parks. Also on Anaheim bus route to parks with direct service back and forth that was quick. Be sure to ask what bus # you need to catch for the return!

We have stayed at many of the hotels surrounding Disney (Marriott, Hilton, Residence Inn, Desert Inn, Embassy Suites) and this one is one of our favorites because it has everything we look for. The rooms are clean, TV is flatscreen and a good size, and the location is in a nice area. The complimentary breakfast is really good as they change their main items from omlettes and sausage to scrambled eggs and bacon every other day. They also have a pancake machine, different cold cereals, juices, breads, etc. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again.

Overall an average stay! We originally wanted a standard room with two queen size beds (this is what what was advertised ) but landed up with a king size bed!!!! Had I not been with my daughter this would have been an issue. Not sure why or how this happened! Our room was clean and reasonably quiet. Breakfasts were great--just felt there should have been more fruit available. The elevator not working was an issue and when it was it took forever and the door was a problem -we did not feel safe using the elevator - there should definitely be two elevators.

I am expecting some refund for this. The elevator was not working for the 4 days i stayed. I was put in the tird floor. I had 1 yr old kid and 3 yrd old kid, with lot of luggage. I had to walk up and down every day wih the kid and luggage and no help. Room AC was making lot of noise HAvign no elevator is nto acceptable. Requesting soem money or a free night stay

The rooms were pretty clean, though the carpet always felt damp for some weird reason. Complimentary breakfast wasn't so delicious but there's a starbucks within walking distance. Staff was friendly though not always behind the desk. Good deal, nonetheless.

It was amazing.Very close to disneyland `2.5miles. Staff Gustav was ver helpful in finding a lunch place for us and checkin. clean confortable.

Enjoyed our visit and free parking as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was nice for a 3 star Holiday Inn Express. The breakfast was not as good as the other Holiday Inn's we've stayed at. They have a cool pancake machine, but they didn't have it turned on for some reason. They also had a cinamon bun warmer that wasn't in use. There were people playing loudly in the pool at 10:30PM which kept me awake. Lots of restaurants around and of course DISNEYLAND! I probably wouldn't stay here again, but it was just fine.

My personal experience was pretty good. The staff was extremely polite and the room was very clean each day when I got back at night. If I had to make a suggestion for this specific location, I didn't see a room or area that sold individual items such as toothpaste, deodorant, headache medicine, etc. in case you needed. One other Holiday Inn Express I stayed in recently in Scottsdale AZ had this along with a beverage cooler that had 20oz. plastic bottle soft drinks and gatorade. Overall though, I enjoyed my stay in Garden Grove. Nice people.
