Embassy Suites Anaheim - South

I was very dissapointed in this reservations site and hotel. I received smoking room and hotel said this is how reservation was made which was not true. They said there was nothing they could do as the hotel was sold out. Kids had hard time sleeping in that room. Hotel charged for Disney parks shuttle and didn't say that at the check in. Plus they charged us for parking. Many other less expensive hotels provide free shuttle and parking.

The whole experience was great and I would stay here again and tell friends. The only downsides were: We had a 1 bedroom suite with two beds. The beds are FULL size, not queen. We also had a small living room with a sofa bed. The sofa bed is also full size. Would have been great to have Queen size beds. The beds were comfortable though, just small. Line for an omelet in the morning - they need more than 1 cook! Pull out sofa bed linen was sparse... Need two (not 1) pillows, a blanket and a comforter (there was a blanket, but no comforter) Elevator sometimes takes a while and the stairs are not an option if you are in the upper floors Best when the shuttle runs every 15 min. For some reason on Sunday (Easter Sunday) the shuttle took forever to pick up. There were a lot of people that needed a ride back. And the shuttle driver didn't open the rear doors once we got back. That wasn't helpful since we were all tired and wanted off the bus. Plus there were lots of families with strollers and lots of stuff. I think their motivation was to ensure all people went past the "tip" jar.

We had a wonderful time!! Yes, parking is a bit pricey, as is the shuttle to Disneyland, but in reality it's all worth the price. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the room was always clean, free breakfast and cocktail hour was wonderful! They do need to work on their elevators, as one lady and her daughter got stuck for probably an hour, but other than the elevator issue this is a great place to stay!

I prepaid for my room. The room they selected for me was over the Kitchen exhaust fans and in a corner with no views. Hair dryer didn't work. Burnt out light bulbs. $12 parking per day. $10 internet per day. Considering the price per night, additional fees for parking and internet and problems with the room, there are many better Hotels at much better pricing.

Far surpassed our expectations for an under 100$ hotel. We live in San Diego and stay over night every few months. We Have annual passes and come to Disneyland 50 weeks out of the year with our 3 year old. We don't eat out we pack all. Our own food and pur big family time is weekely Disneyland . This hotel was awesome. Almost as nice as the grand. Better room, way better, but missing the luxury touches of the grand but at more than half the price it works. I would book only the Grand California over this given the chance. This hotel is my second favorite. Third is the residence inn on Disney way next to the Pemba parking lot. Word to the wise, stay here scoot up harbor make a right on disney way and park in Pumba on the weekends. Much better than mickey and friends.

the room wasn't clean enough, we had a non smoking room, but it smelled like smoke room.

I recently had surgey and was on crutchs. the fromt desk staff made sure that I was given a room close to the elevators. They also were very helpful in getting me a rental scooter delivered to the hotel and returned it after I was done. Well Done Staff!!!

Hotel was a good value for the area. The morning breakfast and manager reception in the afternoon was a chance to meet other travelers and made the stay more relaxing . The hotel is located close to good restaurants and other types of shopping,like Target just down the street. Disney resorts is just a short drive down the road and a shuttle is available for a small fee if you don,t want to drive.We stayed here for 4 nights in October.

I am one that reads reviews of hotels before going or staying at a particular hotel. The Emabssy Suites South came well recommended and rightfully so. It is in a perfect location away from all the Disneyland traffic, but not too far from Disneyland. The beds were very comfortable, except the pillows could have been a little firmer, but other than that the room was very comfortable. The staff was extremely nice and helpful from the time we checked in until the time we left. Nice and courteous must be their primary goal, because it worked, they were awesome ! The morning made to order omlettes and breakfast buffet is the best I've had in a long time at any hotel. Then in the afternoon pizza and free drinks, what more could you ask for. The freshly made pizza is one of the best ! I will definately be back here.
