Fine for the price
This ia a clean decent place to stay while going to see my nephew play basketball in Fresno. The pool area was very nice and there is a workout room with good equipment. The rooms could use a face lift, but at least they were very clean. The rooms smelled clean when we walked in.

Good plaice to stay

My stay a the Fresno, CA, Picadilly Inn
This was my second stay at the hotel. They did not have my reservations although I showed them the [...] confirmation code. They also came to get me to leave thinking I was not going to stay a second day, which was confirmed as part of the reservations. The phones did not work - there were NO people on staff to service those things on Sunday. I had to move everything to another room and nobody offered to help me move. The hotel smelled. The computer and printer available in the lobby did not work and when somebody fixed it, it only had a limited number of credit cards it honored. The free breakfast was good.

The nearby dining experiences next door (a range from McDonalds, to a Mexican restaurant, to a Black Angus, to a Marie Callenders - I tried them all), were not good in the quality of food - I had [*] from the latter. Go a short drive to find better quality fod.

A Comfortable Stay
Room was tidy, but areas left dirty. Old coffee filter in coffee maker, Counter left dirty. Took a while for the hot water to warm up. Bed was very comfortable. Nice working area.

Great price
I was very pleased with the location. It gave me easy access to the university. My grandson had a football camp and I was able to be very close to the field were they were running scrimages all week-end. I was also pleased with the various resturants that were available from the hotel. If I ever come back to Fresno I will book the Piccadily Inn again.
