Great place to stay!

Had a great time. Clean room, nice gardens and pool area. Breakfast needs help-needs protein on the menu. The towels are paper thin. Customer service was great! My dog had a great time too!

Nice Chic Hotel

I arrived 2 hours early and was allowed to check in and was upgraded without asking to a deluxe suite. The room was clean, the staff friendly, lots of nice restaurants nearby. The only reason I couldn't give them all five stars is because the TV sets were probably from the 1980's. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

DI CICCIO'S Italian restaurant about a mile from the hotel had dynamite pizza. I ordered a beer to drink while waiting and it was on the house.

In need of a makeover

The Hotel describes itself as ' boutique' but it misses this description by some measure. The room was very old and tired with stained carpets and a stained bed cover. Wall coverings were peeling and dirty around light switches. Some of the light fittings did not work. Likewise the bathroom needed a major update. Although the room had two TV's both were old and offered very poor picture quality. The room itself was very large and with an update could offer a comfortable environment. The fitness room has very little equipment and the room is so small as to be clostrophobic. On a positive note the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great Place!

Staff was wonderful. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. Easy access to Yosemite and freeways and food. Breakfast was simple but got the job done.

I 'll be back!

Great rate for a big roomy apartment. Furnishings in the regular room are basic but quite serviceable. Having couches, an easy chair and balcony were great. Shuttle service is availible to the Elbow Room at no charge.

From the Outside In

The exterior renovation is complete and award winning. The interior is still a work in progress. The owners have already repainted, installed dual pane windows, stocked with upscale soaps/shampoos, and replaced much of the furniture. They're still working on replacing TVs and upgrading other features. My room had two old small tvs, a missing light fixture in the bedroom, and very sad pillows - but Comcast Cable on both TVs. I'd stay again and would love to see some of the rooms that are finished. Look for sales, my rate was less than the low tier motel prices.

Great place in Fresno

Standard rooms can be iffy - but we got a great suite for $75 a night. Ask for a room where there has been no complaints. #204 is great!!

Fantastic!

The hotel is beautiful. They took a 70sish apartment and converted it into a wonderful hotel of suites. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated - not typical hotel stuff. The bed was delightful. The grounds are landscaped and have various sitting areas with Buddha statues and other garden decorations. The staff was extremely helpful. We were there for business and there was some confusion about our reservation. But they made every accommodation for us and they made certain everything was just right for our meetings. Only two negatives. During the continental breakfast I had to listen to Fox News. Unpleasant. And at breakfast all the cups, plates and utensils were disposable and non-compostable. Considering the grounds were so lovely and Zen-like I would have hoped they would buy compostable breakfastware. But I will defninitely stay there again!
