One huge compaint
The one and only compaint I have about this hotel is that because we reserved the room through an internet travel agency starting with Or and ending in bitz we were not authorized to get the Marriot points we thought we shoud get. This was a great dissappointment.

Short drive from hotel
On Blackstone Ave you have a wide selection of dining available. From a Ruth Chris Steakhouse to all of the major chains. We opted for something a little different. We went to the Pismo Seafood Maket and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The jambalaya with extra cajun spice was out of this world and as good as the best jambalaya in New Orleans. The salmon and the steak were delicious too. An all around good time.

The Phantom
Location, breakfast, shower... wonderful
Internet connection excellent, room layout very good, shower good, TV availability good, breakfast starts at 6:30 am and is good. Altogether wonderful, but old, soft mattress a bit under standard. Address is on Fresno Street, but you should turn S of the corner with Herndon at the previous traffic light, and follow the winding driveway through the empty lots. Entrance is on the side of the building not visible from the street, but it IS the first building you see. The lot is shared with a Hilton hotel that I did not evaluate.

Nice and clean
There were strange noises coming from the bathroom which I didn't like. And the view from my window was of the neighboring hotel which wasn't good. Also, the ironing board was on its last legs and should have been thrown away. Aside from that I thought it was very clean, and I liked the room. I especially liked the wall that separated the sitting area from the sleeping area.

SpringHill Suites Fresno
Visiting the area during the holidays. It's relatively new. The room layout was a little strange. The room didn't have open floor plan. Only one tv, though there's a waiting room/office, and a separate bed area. The closet was not easily accessible for both sides, and the artwork in the bathroom was water stained. With that said, it was a very clean room, friendly staff. Nice and clean breakfast area. Also, they provide paper plates in the microwave, and the room conveniently had a refridgerator

Great place to stay!
This is a great place to stay. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfasts were delicious, the accommodations were perfect, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location to a mall, to the downtown area where the wedding was, and easy access to other places in Fresno as well.

Good Hotel, no points
I had stayed in a Springhill in the Phoenix area and liked it, so I tried this one. The hotel told me that since I had booked through Orbitz I couldn't get Marriot Rewards points. That wasn't the case in Phoenix.
