Place to crash after a Crab Feed!

Hotel staff were cheerful and helpful. Owner has done a really nice job with the interior and exterior decor/landscaping. Room was spacious & clean. Bed wasn't the best or the worst. Mattress a bit too firm unless you sleep on your back. OK for 1 night - couldn't sleep on it all week. Noise - good/quiet. Breakfast - continental breakfast bar w/waffle maker - ok. would stay here again for 1 night.

OK place to stay

We chose this hotel to be near the highway so we could get to the airport quickly. We also liked the price. The hotel is a little dirty and could be updated. But the stay was OK for what we needed.

Will be visiting again soon!

We stayed at this hotel over a long weekend while my husband did the California classic. We were both very impressed with the hotel and staff. They were very friendly towards us and our 14 month old daughter. Also, they hotel was very well located between great restaurants/shops and downtown near the zoo.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

DiCicco's restaurant offers a 15% discount to hotel stayers! It was a great little Italian place.

Below Average Stay

Front Desk staff at check in day was courteous. We went out next day and came back to find the room wasn't cleaned. We were told there is no service staff available at that time. We were moved to different room after lot of resistance from the front desk. I would rate this a below average experience.

Good

Was fine. Nothing too much about it. The younger front desk lady, when I checked in and out was not nice. But other than that, the other people there was helpful and very nice.

Comfortable and Convenient

My mother and I were visiting Fresno to assess retirement homes for my Dad which was very stressful. The front desk personnel were always friendly and helpful which lifted our spirits - especially the Indian woman. We LOVED the freshly made waffles available in the morning. The staff were willing to provide an extra comforter for my Mom who was cold and show her how to operate the thermostat. They also called a trusted taxi driver so she could go to the shopping mall. The only slight downside was the water pressure at the bathroom sink in Room 316. It was set too high and came out in streams like a shower. This was our second stay at the Ramada and I would stay again when I'm next in the Fresno area visiting my father.

A little Pricey for the Space, but Ok

We ended up getting to the hotel at about 10:30pm and the night clerk knew my name and that I was checking in late. We got into our rooms and had a great stay. The rooms was MUCH smaller than we thought they were going to be. The beds were VERY comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. Over all good stay.
