Piccadilly Inn Airport

We were a family grp of 6 and had 2 rooms. We "bookended" this hotel at the beginning and end of our stay. Our first nite had us in a room that had a very uncomfortable king bed but on the way back it was a better bed (firm rules here;no pillow tops!). The rest of the family thought beds left a "sore back too". Rooms were very average in decor but extremely clean and had tables in room for light snack/breakfast drink (fridge kept things nice and cold). I left some items behind and it was entered into lost and found and i picked it up on the way back. Kids used the pool on the first stay and were the only ones in it; it was clean and pleasant in a garden setting. There was a modest exercise room-basically treadmills. We ate at the Steak restaurant and the food was average but the wait staff excellent. On our final nite stay we didn't need to drop off our rental car until the morning of our flights. The rental (Alamo) was a quick walk from the terminal. We dropped off kids and 2 adults who waited at check-in while other two adults dropped off car (we had to check in by 9a and left the hotel a little after 8a and made it thru check-in, security etc with abt half an hr to spare!). While this isn't a Sheraton or Marriott it's a fine for the short stop, well priced, & staffed with helpful, friendly employees. Only draw backs are the beds, motel-like decor, low height, motel-like bathrm vanities. We moved rooms the first night because of an odd rattling noise w/ air conditioning and the move was made quickly by front desk staff. I wouldn't spend a lot of time here but it's fine for airport locale. Fresno didn't have much going on and was very hot. It was a two hr drive to Yosemite south gate entrance.

I stayed here because it was next to the airport and because I was able to leave my car there while I was away on a personal trip at no extra charge.

[...] We were staying only one night and only used the room to sleep after a full day at a family reunion. The place was clean and comfortable. We did hear a lot of creaking from the room above us but it was not too bad. This hotel is right near the airport too.

Overnight after meetings before flying home. Location is right across from Fresno airport. Rooms are dated and need a refresh and updating.

Just needed a location close to the airport in order to catch an early morning flight. This was close, clean, quiet and a handy shuttle service in the morning.

Place was quiet. They had an excellent shuttle directly to the airport. Very convenient!

pretty good only problem was having to leave the security of the hotel to get to the room

A beautiful hotel over run by 2 marching bands that slamed doors, ran up and down the halls, used fowl language, they should have been caged up like animals. We called for help from the front desk and the person on duty said she would do her best to control the animal kids.I have 3 children 38,31 and 2727, if they ever acted like this they would be locked up. This hotel only cares about their revenue not returning guests. I can go on for pages but its not worth it..suggest you take the Picadilliy "Circus" off you listy of recommended hotels...and my 2 stars are for the chef and breakfast nothing else...

The check in was quick and professional. The dinner restaurant had great food and service. The room was clean and nice. The service at the breakfast cafe was slow and the food was cold when it arrived.

I was there for a long weekend to attend a class reunion nearby. Having the restaurant in the hotel was a great convenience since I didn't want to have to drive around to grab something to eat. It's an old established hotel in Fresno and met my needs.
