Days Inn Fresno

I expected "Days Inn" to be something less than a Hilton, but something more than this near flophouse. The clerk's demeanor was diffident at best, if not near surly. I had a hard time seeing the very very small room numbers from the parking spaces, so I had to get out of the car to locate my room before I knew where to park. The walls are paper thin, so the adjacent room's TV noise was unpleasant. The maid did not show up to re-make the room until almost 5pm for my second night (as if I had not learned my lesson from the first night). The second night was intruded by the bump-bump bed noise of the upstairs lovers. I could hear "everything". The bathroom sink looked filthy. It cannot possibly be cleaned properly because the enamel is etched and rough. The bed was hard. On the bright side, the sheets and towels were clean. The best thing about this Days Inn is that I now know which one to avoid in Fresno.

The area this hotel was in, combined with the lack of security (non locking doors to the outside where anyone could enter and dead bolt on room door not locking) left my son and I with a feeling of unease. I would not stay here again.

The bed was not good. The table in the room was positioned on the wrong side. It was difficult to find channels on the TV. Some trash wasn't picked up. Water consistently came out of the shower even though the curtain was pulled as tight as possible. The breakfast could have been better and gone on a little longer. However, it was very easy to get the Wi Fi up and running.

The "continental breakfast" was below standard. The hallway doors to the outside were open at all times, causing cold drafts to blow through the corridors (not to mention the security issues). The bed was excellent; the rest of the room was like a throwback to the 1990s. One end of an old towel bar remained in the shower -- a slip in the tub could have caused a nasty laceration. There are plenty of other hotels on Blackstone (Fresno's main drag); I'd choose any of them over this one next time.

This hotel was bustling with noise all hours of the night nearly every day. There was no security. If I were traveling alone, I would not have stayed there.

Was driving to Yosemite from Phoenix.. that's a long drive so took a break and stayed in Days Inn for the night. They charged me 10$ extra for having an extra guest which i felt weird.. Bed was bad.. shaky and noisy.. Not enough towels in the bathroom... No iron box :-(.. Felt little expensive for the service they gave..

I felt deceived first by [...] for giving this hotel a 2star rating. It deserved no stars. We got there at 4pm, the ice machine was not working. I called the front office, they did not know, they said they would fix it. It was a 105 degrees. Then we got into the room, the AC could not handle the heat, never got cool. The Tub was pealing, the chairs had paint over them pealing, the bedspread was ripped. The whole place looked like a getto. They only serve continental breakfast at 6am, we got to it at 5:45AM they would not give us coffee. When we got back to our hotel about 5pm the next day, the AC was off, the Ice Machine was not working still and no bedsheets or towels were changed, I caught the cleaning lady and she said she did not even know that anyone was there, we sat and watched her do our room fro 30 minutes, She suspected the bottom floor was a welfare joint. We had asked for 1st floor when no one was even parked there, they said it was full. I went down stairs and the lights were dim, the carpet stunk of mold. This place was a dirty, filthy hotel. We were to tired and hot to switch and I had already pre-paid. If you like scum and filth (and oh yeah, my son got bed bug bites) go here and enjoy!
