Went down for a college preview at CSUF since my son will be attending next fall. Looking for a hotel that was relatively close and would utilize the next four years that we visit. Was booked into room 324 I think, last room by staircase. Loud whistling noise out of bathroom vent ALL Night LONG. Kept us up, will not return to this hotel. They lost a returning guest. Upon Check Out they didn't seem too concerned!

WHAT A LET DOWN!!!
I stayed for two nights, and was a little disappointed. At this hotel, you are paying for the safe location. That's about it. The TV was an old style tube TV, there was no Wi-Fi in the room, and the room was very small. I had to go out and buy my own toilet paper, because their cheap 1-ply toilet paper falls the second it gets wet and will stick to your hoo-haw. NOT GOOD. If you want ice or snacks, you sure won't find it on the 2nd or 3rd floor. You have to go way down to the first floor on an elevator that is so slow you're better off taking the stairs. I wasn't impressed at all with this place. Yes, the outside of the building is pretty and homey, but definately not worth what I paid. Go elsewhere where you will at least have internet in your room and possibly better toilet paper!

The hotel was nice, clean, the only issue I had was I could hear water from other bathrooms running in the walls at night or early morning and that woke me up many times early. Enjoyed the Breakfast.

Great Location for a Fantastic Vacation
We had a large room with a king size bed. It was almost like having a living room and a bedroom. The desk clerk was friendly and very helpful. He looked up and compared tour companys for us. We visited Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks as well as Yosemite National Park and other local places. The hotel is strategically located very near HWY 41 which connects with HWY 99, and 180. You are only 2 to 3 hours from any major location. You could make a day trip to San Francisco or take a day to drive along the coast. It is hot in late July and early August in Fresno with temperatures reaching 103*F. The mountains and the coast are cooler with the mountains in the lower 80's and the coast in the upper 60's to low 70's. All in all, my wife and I had a great time and a very enjoyable stay.

Food in the National parks are expensive. If you can, bring along a cooler and a picnic lunch. Parking is sparce so get there early.
