BEST WESTERN PLUS Village Inn

Last October I had to attend a wedding but didn't have any one to take care of my 2 dogs. I brought them with me and to my surprise the hotel was dog friendly. In between the building there is a patch of grass for them and at night it is lite. Great breakfast, just enough to get the day started. Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. I will stay again.

There were no elevators to get to the 2nd floor. Beds were okay. It was close to where we needed to go. The area around it was okay.

I usually have a hard time sleeping at hotels / motels but this place had me pleasantly surprised. My legs usually cramp for some reason after a stay at any place but I awoke without discomfort and rested. The room was clean and the television was a decent size (the only negative was slight as some channels were a bit "fuzzy" but not too "fuzzy"). I really liked the bathroom because it was large and had a more than adequate bath / shower. Plus the hostess was pleasant and charming, without seeming too attentive, if that makes sense. Defintely will come back here at this price.

When u walk past the rooms it sounds like u can hear through the walls but it was a very quiet room. Overall the stay I would classify it as Nice :-)

busy location but room was quiet, good continental breakfast, room overall was average, nothing special but was clean, king size bed filled up good portion of room.

The hotel staff was great. Beautiful room and and very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay even though a very quiet little mouse visited our dogs treat each night. The staff at the front desk was surprised to hear about the extra visitor in our room. We would certainly stay at the Best Western Plus Village Inn again the next time we are in Fresno.

Everything was fine - the room was clean and quiet, everything worked, the location was central, would stay there again.

I book my hotel to go pay my respect to my so call father General Vang Pao funeral down at the convention center. Every hotel near the convention were either expense or all book so I decide to book this hotel because it was 15% off for the price of $133. So I think that it was a good deal. The good experience about this hotel was that it was located on a main street were all the mall and resturant were. Also when we arrive we feel welcome because we were greet with a smile on the face. They even offer us if we want to sleep up stair or down stair which we never had any choice when we stay at any other hotel before. Beside this, when we got to our room the place were nice and clean. The bad experience over there was when we arrive there my husband were about to open up the lobby door for us to go check in but their were this guy who work there just came park his car on the side in front of the lobby and just ran and bump my husband out of the door and just went in first without hold the door or asking if were gonna go in. That was hella ruin how he just bump my husband out of the door. On top of that when we arrive there the lady at the check in was greeting us and everything nicely but also 1 of my bad experience is that she never told us that breakfast in the morning were free. We were there two night at the hotel but never went there for breakfast and we have to look for place to eat breakfast that suck. We only found out on the last day we were gonna check out when I told my husband to go ask if they have a microwave for us to heat our food and the lady who cook and clean there had told him do you also want anything else to eat in here because the food were free. My husband were so upset because why didn't they told us that when we first arrive there. :(

Went to Fresno State for visit.

bed was decent and clean. no visible stains on the carpet or bedding which I appreciated. bathroom was clean the first night; however motel maid did not remove the shampoo bottles from the bathroom area for 5 nights that I stayed in this place and even though it looked clean I don't think the maid really cleaned the bathroom well,the smell, (I guess knowing that I was staying for 5 nights). You'll hear train horn several times a night. If you're a light sleeper its a good chance you'll wake up to it. neighborhood is shady and yes you'll see prostitues cruising the street. barbwire is necessary to protect your automobile. there is a denny's conveniently located next to this location. a donut shop and mcdonalds are across the street. close to highway 41.
