We were traveling with friends and had three rooms for 5 nights. The hotel was clean, as well as the rooms. We really appreciated the fact that we had a refrigerator, a hair dryer (that really worked!) and an iron board/iron. The main issue we had was the Heater. It was a little bit cold the first night we were there and we had to turn it on. It was the first and last night we did though! Every time it went on it was like someone starting a car in the bedroom. It was so loud and woke us up every time it went on. That was terrible! We had 2 double beds. One of them was making noise as it looked like it has lost some support on the wall. If you plan on waking up late, you won't be able to. The morning crew is so loud with their vaccum! For quiet room, ask for the rooms at the end of the pool so you won't hear people rolling their suitcase in the middle of the night or the sounds of those high heel shoes! When we were in the lobby, a few customers came to complain about water dripping in their bathroom. (We didn't have any but the water ran a little bit yellow/ocre at first.) It was too cold to use the pool, but I am sure it will become handy during those hot summer night. We stopped using the heater after the first night so we were able to get some rest. Over all, our stay was not too bad for the price we paid. Basically, you get for you pay for!

What was I thinking!?
This hotel must be named incorrectly. "Value" implies some comparison of money and quality. This hotel has no recognizable "quality" so it cannot have value. Half of the "amenities" were missing, the room was run-down, and the "non-smoking" room smelled worse than the carpet of a cheap casino. Want to find out why Fresno is on the Forbes list of most miserable cities? You can experience it by staying here. On the other hand, it was open (as opposed to boarded-up like the rest of the buildings nearby), had walls, roof, and running water. Don't expect much, then be ready to be disappointed. Consider staying in Clovis.

Poor choice
Very poor choice. Shower tub cruddy. Pitiful so-called continental breakfast. Noisy air-conditioning unit. Would not ever retun and would not recommend. [...] we were disappointed to spend our time and money in this poorly maintained room interior and locality.

One Night Stay
We were there because my husband had an early morning appt at the VA hospital and this was very convenient to the hospital. It was really nice except the soda machine does not offer water. All my husband could have to drink was water and there was nowhere close to get any. My only other complaint is that at about 6am the ice machine either started dumping ice or they were filling it and it was very loud. Other than that it was clean and quiet. Having the Subway right there was very nice but they closed at 8pm. Would have been nice if they were open later. Don't let the outside fool you, it is very clean and comfortable.
