Courtyard by Marriott Foothill Ranch Irvine East

All around positive experience. Fairly modern, fresh appearance. Location convenient to Foothill Ranch/ Lake Forest area. Pleasant environment, gracious staff. No shopping in the immediate vicinity, but, several food establishments close by including a Starbucks.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. Pool is nice. Dining area is good. Had everything I needed and is close to the locations I was visiting.

The stay was great. Staff was perfect, and when my hair dryer did not work I called the front desk and within five minutes someone was at my door with a replacement.

Our stay at the Courtyard Marriott was for a local wedding. We were exceptionally pleased with our accommodations -- the room was clean and comfortable, and with an up-to-date feel: the climate control was more advanced than most hotels, the lights used a combination of switches and motion detectors, and there was a choice in-room between wired and wireless high speed internet. We also spent time in the pool & Jacuzzi, which were clean and fun. The feature that really impressed us, though, was the staff. Everyone with whom we interacted was not just professional, but genuinely friendly and welcoming in a way that surprised us (we travel considerably, but haven't run into such a sincerely friendly staff before). Kudos to the team at Courtyard Marriott.

The entire staff were all friendly, professional, caring, and sincere. The morning crew, Check-In, (tall woman, blonde hair, I'm sorry I don't remember her name!! LOL.) Extremely caring and very loving person! Morning restaurant crew, I'm sorry I don't remember names here either!!! You guys are all awesome!!! The one name I do remember is Mark!.. You guys all deserve a raise! Thanks for making our stay as comfortable as it would be in our own beds!!! General Manager: You should give these people some credit for helping your hotel run so smooth!!!

The purpose of our trip was to attend a memorial service at Saddleback Worship Center. The hotel was close to the church and the hotel accommodations were nice, close to restaurants and shopping, Target etc and the staff very friendly. We would recommend Courtyard Marriott's.

The pillows were way too soft as you lay their your head sinks in and the pillow traps your ears. You could hear everything in the next rooms and in the hall.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while attending the CITRT round table at Saddleback Church. Rooms were very clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Newly updated fitness room with new equipment. I did not go to the pool, but it looked nice. Comfortable bed, large LCD TV. Nothing bad to say about the hotel.

My family stayed at this hotel when we went to visit family for the Thanksgiving holiday. The hotel was nice, very clean, and we enjoyed the stay. The name "Spectrum Mariott" is a little misleading, this hotel is about 7 miles from the Spectrum in Irvine. We thought it would be a lot closer than 7 miles. That said, there was plenty of restaurants in the area, and considering it was southern California, the traffic in the area was very light, and you are also 7 miles closer to the beach in this hotel than the Spectrum. The fitness center was small, but the equipment is in good shape and it worked well. The lobby had a sofa and a TV which was nice, since I'm usually awake for a couple of hours after the rest of my family goes to sleep. We did find the breakfast to be very expensive, and we chose to eat elsewhere. I'd recommend this hotel.
