Smokey fragrance and parking lot vista....
Stayed only one night (good thing too). Booked a one King bed room with partial mountain view - room smelt very stale (clearly the previous guest did not get the no smoking memo), was right next to the ice machine (humming noise 24/7), not all the lights in the room worked and the partial mountain view was actually a vista over the parking lot. Not a great experience at all

Family friendly, nice lodging, friendly staff. Food choices are very, very expensive (burgers $15+ ?!?). Perfect accommodations for our hike through Mariposa Grove and Wawona area.

Nice Comfortable Lodge
We arrived at the lodge near midnight, the staff was quite friendly and helpful and we were resting in our cabin within 15 minutes. The room was a little cold when we arrived, but the fireplace (gas powered) helped warm up the room quickly. The room has all the necessary amenities we needed. The bathroom is clean and the beds are comfortable. The lodge is about another hour drive to Yosemite valley, which means you will have to checkout in the morning. Otherwise, it is a perfect place to stay for those who wish to visit Yosemite.

Great Mountain Lodge
We visited Yosemite all three days there. We did not participate in any activities at the Lodge. Access to Yosemite was excellent. Food service was not up to the excellence of the rest of Lodge staff. The food was good and well prepared, but the sevice was slow. We ate one dinner and two breakfasts in the hotel.

Wonderful week at Tenaya
We had a wonderful stay in mid May, including late season snow. Lodge and surroundings were beautiful. Nice room, comfortable beds. Restaurants were pricey but food was good. Everyone was attentive and helpful, including concierge. Took bus tour to yosemite park from the lodge due to bad weather and questionable road conditions; tour was great. Keep in mind the main part of Yosemite is about an hour drive from the lodge, but the sequoia grove is very close and beautiful. Only issue at the lodge was a problem with the water temperature control in our room.
